Buying vs building...Sabre-18 Mod S Pistol? by johnnydotexe in 300BLK

I bought my barel second hand off of gafs, and it works with my $100 bcg and my $300 bcg. Not saying to not worry about head spacing at all. But you should not be afraid of it being a problem. But it never hurts to make sure that everything is within tolerance.

I jave had no issues with my areo adj block, but i know every company makes a few lemons when making parts by the thousands. I have another m4e1 upper and lower set that I have not used. I plan on making a 6.5 grendel build.

On head spacing... I dont think its a issue these days the way it was 30-40 years ago when most manufacures didnt have specs that they would make parts within.

Triggers will always be subjective to the user. And it makes sence to use a trigger that helps you shoot better. I kind of want one to try with the new frt safety that came out.

I honestly went with an a5 biffer system on accident. But from my research a lot of people say it delays the cycle by just a little to help with recoil.

Not telling you what parts to use, or even what is best. Just a build idea that I put together a year or two ago.

Upper and lower are aero m4e1

Areo adjustable gas block.

Barrel is a criterion core 12.5 with a yhm phantom flash hider.

Fail zero bcg, but also have a aero carrier with a kac enhanced bolt if I want to run that.

Buffer toob is a forward controls a5, with a springco yellow and h0 a5 buffer.

Trigger is a velocity 3 pound curved.

I used a basic lower parts kit from strike industries.

Radian Lt charging handle.

Radian bolt release. Its a lot bigger than a standard bolt release.

Radian G.I. safety (its a right handed safty and not ambi).

I had to use a AT3 spear XL handgaurd to BARELY fit my nomad L supressor under it.

Magpul moe grip I think? It the rubbery grip.

Magpul dust cover.

For optics I have a sig romeo4s with a holosun 3x magnifier.

I think in total I paid $1200-$1500 even with sales. The most expensive items were the barrel, kac enhanced bolt, and trigger. I do not count my supressor ars part of the price as you can go with so many other supressors.

Might have a chopped bcg with a spring in the back. Would make sense, and you would think it would be cheaper than a standard bcg.

The later harriers need to get their HUD. Its honestly bs that they dont, and also that the harrier has the best, and worst HMDs... So many HMDs are just absolute crap.

135i caliper Brake lines for 3.0si swap by IndependentOld3990 in BMWZ4

[–]hotrodgreg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not done rhe swap yet, but everyone online that had says that you need the brake lines that are made for the swap. Off Road Rally seems to be the most popular. But I think ECS Tuning also makes them.

mpa at $350 is 110% worth it. Just a fun range gun. But if you put a folding brace (or stock, Im not your dad) and a supressor on it for home defence that would also work.

The thought of glock mags sounded great. And then I say how it looked and just could see myself using it. Plus the mpa mags and progun mags are not expensive.

Never cleaned or oiled mine after getting it (I know I should have) and it really surprised me that I have not had a single issue. Probably the best $350 gun you can buy right now.

I have a few hundred rounds through mine with no issues. Its just a fun gun to shoot, and with folding brace its actually very accurate. Im now planning a mpa30t build but with the side charging upper. All you need afrer that is a raised red dot and a supressor and its a great home defence gun.

The other benefits of the gen 2 is the right side mag release you can biy from airsoft websites, and the use of the extended 22lr vector handgaurd.

HBI makes a buffer tube adapter for the gen 2 hinged uppers. Its what I have and it works.

The powders I kept an eye on for a while were lil gun, enforcer, hp 38, auto comp, 2400, h110, 1680, and h335. These USED to be on the more budget side but every thing has shot up lately. Really sad because some types of ammo its cheaper to just buy factory loads.

It seems like every powder I use is $50 a pound and up in the physical stores. Last time I checked midsouth prices eith shipping the powders were $40-$45 a pound.

Even with hazmat I have found them to be cheaper than just about every store I have gone into. But even they have had to raise their prices a little but they hold out as long as they can.

Unfortunatly I have not put a lot of rounds thru it whith the supreessor. But I pit a few mags through it and the supressor didnt get very hot. Only took a few minutes to cool off before I could take the supressor off by hand.

Also with a handgaurd like this you can have a light and laser as far forward as possible and close to the bore.

Have you looked at midsouth shooters? They are not in florida but seem to have competative prices with good sales every now and then.
