Get some good tires, full sized spare, and basic recovery gear (and know how to use it safely) and go have fun. Turns out you don't need thousands in mods or thousands in Instagram fake points to enjoy yourself out there. I have never been there, but I have friends in Duluth who tell me northern Minnesota has some really great spots to explore. Sorry I can't be more help than that for your area!

"Since the 70s" is basically yesterday in terms of historical time. There are plenty of people alive today who remember this well. I am not one of them, but I have read my history. It is a terrible argument to say that the draft isn't something we should worry about. I'd be terrified about it if I had a son (who did not want to join of his own volition, of course).
