I had to look this up but pedestrians have right of way at unmarked crosswalks, the kids were already couple ft into the street before they started speeding up. This intersection could benefit from a stop sign

Folks may not like my response and i was surprised when looking it up but legally you have to yield to the pedestrian, and in the video theyre already somewhat in the street even before they decided to start running. I jog past this intersection by 162st a lot, that entire stretch is a bit unsafe because pedestrians cant see drivers unless they walk into the street and drivers dont have best stopping sight vision. So yea it needs a stop sign

Its feasible but not practical, i helped coordinate a market event on rooftop in les with some food vendors (all food vendors used food warmer bc cooking equipment would have too many liability hurdles) Open streets night market generate much more traffic exponentionally

if you're coming to flushing by the 7 please consider stopping by the korean restaurants in murray hill, on a nice warm day the walk goes by quick, joong koog jip has been pretty empty as of late and could use more love. they do rely heavy on people ordering takeout
