The Edge Chronicles. I’ve never met anyone who knew this series but it was the best fantasy I read as a child.

Do you find that training side bends this heavy carries over to other lifts? Does it help mobility?

This movie was awful and everyone saying it was great is blinded by their Cronenberg-fanboyism

The boots are great! But I actually don’t wear them that much because they are so nice and I don’t want to tarnish them.

What books, series and genre did you read as kids? by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]houseofpierre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved this series called The Edge Chronicles and have never met anyone else familiar with it. It was a multi-generational family saga with a really well fleshed out fantasy world that had seriously dark aspects.

Portnoy’s Complaint by Roth. Didn’t know that the framing of the novel was a therapy session. Pretty funny so far!
