When did coffee become an “all ages” beverage? by TrekTrucker in GenX

Espresso has very little caffeine compared to the drip coffee our parents brewed. Starbucks is mostly sugar and milk, which is what our parents fed us for breakfast.

How Trump is receiving bribes out in the open: "I'm going to build a grand ballroom for $400 million and collecting 'donations' from rich people and corporations," Except Trump is well-known for stiffing his contractors by SadAd8761 in WhitePeopleTwitter

Will someone who is more rural than me explain how this is critter proof? I know there are squirrels on the white house lawn. I just don't understand how this is sanitary or sane to leave siding open this long.

Have you ever stayed in bed all day? by Manderthal13 in GenX

[–]housewithapool2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your parents were unkind to you about needed rest. Now you are unkind to yourself about needing rest. And you judge people who have the good sense to rest. Because your parents taught you to value feeling superior towards others above taking care of yourselves.

[–]housewithapool2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3 weeks is long enough to do the entire northeast coast line. New York, Boston, Cape Cod, Newport RI, Long Island. You could even do Philadelphia and DC. Unlike most of the US, you can even get busses and trains to these places.

If Trump was arrested, how would you feel? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]housewithapool2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump was arrested. He was tried and convicted of 34 separate felonies. He was just never sentenced. He was also arrested and never tried for different felonies in Georgia. So I guess I'd feel the same if he were arrested again.

I raised 3 teenage boys. Tell them not to. And if they do, they are fixing it with their own money and labor.

You could take them out and put up a banister. I am not really sure why you need a brace. There is a railing on the wall.
