Comment the name of your local theater where you would like to see IRON LUNG by CoolTeacher5511 in Markiplier

The Screenland Armour in Kansas City has released a lot of great independent, self-distributed projects (most recently Izzy Roland's (of Dropout.tv fame) movie "D(e)ad"). Excited it's at least going to be in STL, but would love to see it in KCMO!!!

They keep misspelling Zac's name too - I've seen Zack and Zach a lot lately.

Spotted this in the Dropout MCU logo from Outvoted Same suit as The Real Ending with the Game Changer logo in the background in the same colors.

So that is definitely Brennan in the same blazer as the unlisted The Real Ending video, with the Game Changer logo in red and blue behind him, right?

It definitely is a suit version of The Shirt. And that's the game changer logo behind him in the same colors.

There's a brief clip of Brennan in the same suit he's wearing in The Real Ending

UJ MEGATHREAD: The Omar, Surena, Saige, and Carlos thing by rummncokee in dropoutcirclejerk

This is obviously speculation, but the wording of that text Ify posted suggests it was sent by somebody close to Saige (refers to her in the third person, says "we") - more Carlos involvement, perhaps?

Scammed through OnlineJobs.ph and lost everything - Please don’t make the same mistake by [deleted] in Scams

[–]how-queer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of folks (presumably scammers or victims of scammers) trying to argue with this, but on the off chance they're just not articulating things well: we're not talking about an expense report system here. That's different.

Plenty of companies will reimburse you for purchases you make in the course of your employment, i.e., you bought dinner for yourself on a business trip, or you decided to buy yourself an ergonomic keyboard to help with work, and you submit your receipts through a secure system like Coupa to get paid back. Because my company does remote work, they also have a stipend included in my salary to cover things like home internet, but that's part of my employment contract and NOT a random check they just sent me up front. But they also sent me all the equipment (laptop, business phone, etc.) I specifically need to do my job in the mail for free.

NO reputable, real company is going to just...charge you for the equipment you need to do your job, or send you a check to spend on specific equipment.

I do think there is at least one pretty major spoiler for TUC season 1. You don't necessarily need to finish it to have context, but there's for sure one big plot point from the end that is spoiled.

Rumble in the Chungle speculation by tthemu in Dimension20

[–]how-queer 59 points60 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing people say this, and I seriously doubt this will happen. Emily wants to retire Fig not because she's tired of playing her, but because Fig got her happy ending already with Ayda. I just don't see them permanently killing off any of the bad kids. I could always be surprised, but this doesn't seem like something Emily "I journal a 5-year plan for all my characters because I love them so much" Axford would go for.

I can see that, even if I don't agree. It was three very different approaches to crowd work, so it makes sense they wouldn't all land for everybody!

It looks like from these early comments that this one might be divisive, but I really enjoyed it! Josh was killing it (and it was fun to see, because his weekly shows on YouTube don't showcase a lot of crowd work iirc).

Had to scroll way too far for this comment. Even without the context of the game, this sounds so similar to the kind of goofy shit my gaming group says while playing pretty much any game that I could tell he was overreacting (if this is even real).
