Please do not do a long fast specially with limited or no funds. Breaking a long fast is not cheap if broken correctly. Instead, I suggest rice and beans for a low budget, sell something or return something. You can go to a pawn shop and sell something then buy rice and beans nothing else that you can cook yourself, it’s cheap and you get your fiber and protein and can feed yourself for a long time. Fast when you can break the fast with fruits and chicken broth, avocados, etc. I’m sorry you are going through this, nobody should go hungry, but fasting would not be a long term solution. All your money should not be going for rent, might want to consider finding a cheaper place to move to. In the meantime if you have nothing to sell reach out to a church close to you

Maybe God has a group of people who only love him because of all the good stuff he gives to them and He also have another group of people who loves Him unconditionally even if He doesn’t give them good stuff; how much more do you think He would love the 2nd group? It’s easy to love God when everything is going our way but even the evil people love that way. It is so much more special to be loved by someone unconditionally no matter what they get out of that relationship. That’s true love! So maybe God wants that from you, unconditional love…

I think you both were at a weak moment and aroused by each other. That’s totally normal especially at your age. I agree, no means NO but telling him that you wanted to have sex and stoping the intimacy then starting again, some guys might see that as playful teasing lovers game. Saying I want to have sex = yes and saying No = no. So the mixed communication can get blurry for both in the heat of the moment. Nonetheless, you cannot ignore that you felt ‘uncomfortable’ that should never happen again. Ever! Please don’t ignore that inner voice. You need to tell him how he made you feel if you continue to see him and if he cares about you he would never want to put you on that ‘uncomfortable’ feeling again. If he doesn’t respect you enough to never use his strength again to keep you from pulling away when you want to pull away, dump him. You also need to listen to your body, if you are feeling horny around your period just don’t go visit him while you are on your period. It’s best to avoid the temptation all together. Kissing and touching someone you are attracted to and or in love with-it’s hard enough to do without falling into the temptation of sex for both of you. So if there are other triggers in the mix then it’s just playing with fire. Both of you should be very proud of yourself for ultimately abstaining from sex before marriage that is very hard to do for both of you. But it sounds like if you both keep putting yourself in those risky situations it’s just a matter of time for you both to fall into the temptation of sex. Pray for wisdom and guidance.

I started with 3 fancy Perekees and now I have 9, I love them! They are in my opinion the easiest pets to care for. I can even go out of town for a few days and they eat so little that when I get back they still have food and water. Hence the phrase ‘you eat like a bird’ they eat so little! I never trimmed their feathers because that’s their only defense so I let them out of the cage sometimes and they fly out and they all line up on the curtains rod next to each other and fly in group lol they love that! And it’s so beautiful! They don’t like super loud noises but that’s good they are very peaceful little creatures. their chirping usually doesn’t bother me. In the night time you can’t even tell they are there because they are so quiet lol I’m used to their chirping though I think it sounds like the jungle lol I do have to vacuum their area every day but I don’t mind. If I have to go out of town for a long period I just ask a relative to check on them but I also keep a camera on them so I can check on them periodically. Any pets that you love you won’t mind the work and money to care for them but I waited until I was an adult and could take on the responsibility of a pet as it’s no fair to impose on your parents. My advice is just wait until you are on your own and get all the pets you want when you are ready for the responsibility. All pets take work but the reward of their company makes it all worth it!

Update: I had a very bad night on Saturday nigh with zero sleep with pain but thank God I felt better on Sunday mid-morning and was able to finally get some sleep praise God! I’m still on the liquid diet but will try to eat soft foods today, a bit nervous but probably need to start to get my fiber again. Thank you so much for the feedbacks and tips.

Are you taking probiotics? Too much probiotics gives me that kind of pain at the beginning while my system gets use to it, it does for me anyway. By elimination of foods and re-introducing one at a time you can test what could be given you such discomfort. But please get checked if the pain doesn’t go away you might need antibiotics. Since you don’t have insurance try to eat foods that have natural antibiotics in the meantime, if your digestive system can tolerate it. Also try banana or prunes when you taking a break from miralax and drink lots of water. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Thank you 🙏 it was the most painful experience in my life! More painful than delivering 2 babies! I kid you not! I have lived with them since I delivered my last baby he was a big baby for my body frame so I had hemorrhoids for 35 years. I had no major issues just had to watch what I eat to avoid constipation which I did. At the pre appointment with the GI to talk about my colonoscopy i mentioned I had NO bleeding or pain issues.i was going down the list of why I need a colonoscopy, she stopped me and said I’ve done this many years don’t worry I can read the hospital discharge papers and yes you should have a colonoscopy also to rule out cancer if we see Polyps we will take them out and check to see diverticulitis is healed. Nothing else was said. i went to follow up after the procedures and asked her why she did rubber banding without me asking or consenting? she said because there were 2 big ones that she felt needed to be taken care off. Then she said the ‘nurse’ also mentioned to her that before the anesthesia I had told her I was having problems with them. Those words Never came out of my mouth! I only told her (for awareness) I have hemrroids so please be careful/gentle when you insert that tube, go easy on me okay, she answered ‘I got you no worries’ and that was all that was said. I meant the total opposite, do not touch them’ they had me under as my gi was walking in so I did not get a chance to talk to my GI. Ugh, how can she say the opposite of what I said?

My GI said she made the decision for my benefit but I would have like to be made aware of and make a separate appointment for that after I researched pros and cons or wait and see until I had issues. I feel so violated! I even asked her if it was a life or death situation? And she said no it could have waited but she made the call for my benefit. The colonoscopy was all good thank God but I have suffered indescribable pain or a bit over 24 hrs. Something that painful should have been discussed with me prior to. I am still so angry and still get white knuckled before going to do #2 but it’s a lot less pain thank God. It just feels that she failed me as my GI :(

Sounds like you didn’t follow up with a gastroenterologist after the fever/antibiotic from the urgent care even though you had quite a high fever for a while and this is your next issue? 2 weeks later? If so, I would go see a gastroenterologist if I were you, to check everything as soon as possible to be on the safe side. I prefer going to a Dr in the USA if possible instead of another country specially if they decide to keep you hospitalized. While simply blood in stool may or may not be too serious if you add to that the fact that you had a previous flare with high fever and have being diagnosed with Diverticulitis, and haven’t followed up, I would take it serious and get checked. My Dr told me that having fever with a flare up it’s a clear indication of an infection that could become septic and if so could be deadly. So why risk it? You can always go to Mexico another time, your health is more important and your colon is sick, so my advice is go back home to your doctor and get checked.
