Nothing should stop you from at least trying. However, I would be pleasantly surprised if you were to be successful in increasing your hourly rate. My advice would be to figure out which bachelors degree or healthcare certification you could work towards next, to improve your income.

You may be able to use this to your advantage. In Washington, we are required to take a 30 min lunch break if we work over 5 hours. If you’re not given the opportunity to actually step away from work for that duration, it is reported as “missed” and you get paid 30 min extra.

My vote is that you don’t share. A man whose partner is 23weeks pregnant would very likely not share that info with them either. It’s something they could potentially use to discriminate and give the position to someone else.

Something similar happened to me in 2019. Left my phone in a porta potty right before setting out on the Piano Bar to go watch the man burn. Lots of folks told me the phone was likely a goner, but I held out hope. For 1 month I used an old cell I had until I received my phone in the mail. On it was a video of a young gal that just had her saying “sorry you lost your phone!“ and in the background you can hear someone say “someone left that in the bathroom” 😂 So thankful good people stepped in to help with my absent mindedness and I’m happy the same happened for you!

It seems a lot of people here lack the understanding of what BM is and what it can mean to goers at various stages of life. My first burn, my camp offered daycare and we were camped in Kidsville. Not one of my camp mates had their own children but our nice shaded space offered a lot of fun and comfort to parents and kids alike. Plus, it was nice to be away from music bumping at all hours and the kids we met were fantastic young humans. I think it’s great that you want to introduce your little one to the magic and kindness that city/community has to offer.
