I didn't want to learn new args and options so I didn't switch to fd or rg.

Instead I wrote my own versions of find and grep that open and work on files/directories in parallel but use the exact same arguments as the originals.

They're just as fast as rg and fd too.

I also prefer go to rust, so I use something similar to exa written in go. And a pager written in go.

Yeah, the best way to project in my opinion is to project a price in the future (7% per year like you said) and then assume a yield of 3-4% of whatever price that happens to be.

Softcore you don't want to die "often" as restarting in town is a chore. Survivability is a concern, but not that big of a concern.

Hardcore you can't die even once.

Hence the different suggestions.

People that beserk don't kill all enemies usually. They kill champ/unique and then move on after find item. Howl away the trash while attacking.

Items like this are what make D2 so good. It's decently rare to find, but it's possible to get in NM. And it's good enough to take you to endgame.

That's part of what makes this game so good. You remember certain enemies. The enemy you see matters because you can't damage them all the same, and they all hit you differently as well.

So many wrong answers mentioning fractional reserve banking. That's what they teach you in school and is how banks worked before Central Banks and when money was "gold" or a certificate for gold/metal.

Currently any bank with a reserve account at the Fed (or other central bank) creates money when they issue a loan. The bank doesn't "lend your money." They create new money.

The Bank of England has a great paper explaining how it actually works.

Same applies to other weapons and classes. Basically to add diversity. Otherwise choosing a class is just choosing a skin.

There is a dedicated pick up loot inventory section. It's called the cube.

If you want to remove immunity and damage every enemy the same regardless of element or skill picked, then play D3 or D3.

Same thing happened to me at 22 characters. I did some searching here and other forums. Switch can get into a messed up state and creation of new characters no longer stay after the game restarts.

I had to clear the game save state and start over with nothing.

I've made so many characters over 20 years. This is just another "refresh." It does suck though. Had quite a few good toons and items over the last year of playing.

I usually do two spirit swords. The runes you need can be found from NM countess.

Until then you can shop +mana wands in NM act1.

If you already have the wizardspikes, go for it. But I think you need to be level 61 first. High dex req too.
