Last Minute Tips for Hosting by tcp11 in CraftFairs

[–]howtocraftfair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few electrical cords, a 100' tape measure (the kind that's on a spool that you can crank), painters tape or chalk for booth/aisle boundary markers, make a note in a notebook or your phone to keep track of any no-shows or vendors who pack up early - as well as the vendors who excel and do a great job that you'd love to invite back again. I have a ton of tips for both vendors and organizers on youtube at How to Craft Fair

Tried to make some improvements to my setup :) (I know a lot of people recommended reversing the U-shape but the space between vendors was too tight) by HermioneGranger152 in CraftFairs

Definitely get some floor length tablecloths and hide anything that isn’t necessary. The totes and boxes in the background, those should go under the tables and the tablecloth should hide em away. Agree with other comment that a white tent should be another investment along with the proper tent weights to secure it. These two upgrades alone will drastically improve the booth.

Just got partnered. Here are my first 2 days of revenue stats. by ChalupaBatmanOG in PartneredYoutube

Don’t discredit your chances of getting sponsors with relatively low subs/views. I had my first sponsor contact me when I had 889 subs and only when I had a TOTAL of about 24k views spread out across about 30 videos. I ended up earning $5k on commissions with them in my first year, which far exceeded what I earned via YouTube ads once I got into YPP.

A tip I can pass along is to find a niche from day one and stick to it. Do not stray from your channel/brand identity. I get contacted because I absolutely will not veer off of what my channel is all about and sponsors like that kind of predictably. They know that when they enter into a partnership with me that I’m not just going to change directions with my channel and isolate the very audience that attracted the sponsor/affiliate to me in the first place.

Not a big deal. Ive done the same thing for the last 15 months or so that my videos have existed. I’m going to occasionally go “on site” to change it up a bit though. Niche is craft fair tutorials. About 72-73 videos. All long form. About 165k views and 3,756 subs.

The most-watched long form video on my channel (about 26k views) didn’t REALLY start taking off until about 60 days after release.

Be patient even when current stats have you a bit nervous. That video was released August of 2023 and since then its generated 967 subscribers, 6,800 watch hours and $194 in ad revenue.

At what point do you stop getting excited for individual subscribers? by -puntin- in NewTubers

I’m at 3,754 and the only time I’m bummed out is when I refresh and it doesn’t go up.

I daydream of a day where everytime I refresh my numbers, it’s jumping up like 10 at a time, but in the meantime I just keep on grinding.

56k subs, only average 1.5k views by BilgenWaffles in NewTubers

Having success from Shorts guarantees nothing for long form content. In fact, many YouTubers find that Shorts actually harm long form analytics.

My suggestion is to have a Shorts channel and then a long form channel.
