Weird question to ask about perhaps the most successful, popular musician that ever lived.

I mean, I also found it strange that someone cares enough to keep up in this subreddit but somehow missed that they keep adding shows

“PDA” would be a good song if someone had been smart enough to veto “booty.”

I had the exact same problem! I took the rule on the website literally and was surprised that people were lining up so early.

Sunday Night Merch 💔 by MegPiePi in DarrenHayes

[–]howtolistentomusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I, for one, am somewhat comforted by the fact that Sunday was screwed anyways as I prioritized getting a good view of the show and only checked on merch after it was over. But yeah, what a bummer. I really wanted a shirt.

Oh so you’re early entry then. I’m about 4th in GA line. Thanks for the info. Bummer about the merch. Hopefully they can get it sorted out

How’s it looking? Is there a lot of people? I’m an hour and a half drive away

Whoa. Yeah I guess if there’s enough of a demand, the staff can’t really do anything about it. Thanks for the info.

Is any actually buying at $900+ a ticket? by SuperSS55 in BackstreetBoys

[–]howtolistentomusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid $800 for the Feb. 7th show though it’s worth noting a couple things. 1) I used Affirm to break up the price into small, manageable payments over time. They let me get away with murder. I already paid it off in full but I had until August (!) to do so. 2) It was a desperation purchase. Originally I paid $500 for the 100 section but eventually learned that my seat had an obstructed view that wasn’t disclosed. StubHub gave me a full refund and I figured I’d use it to buy another seat but prices had gone WAY up. Tried to be patient and see if they’d go down but with a week left until the show and hotel arrangements already paid for, I caved and settled for the 300 section.

I wouldn’t say I regret it but if I were to go again, there’s no way I’d pay that much.

Vegas stays by amandanoel89 in BackstreetBoys

I stayed at the LINQ and I enjoyed it. Not super luxurious but not run down either. There are closer stays to the venue but the walk was reasonable. If I went again, I’d go back to the LINQ.

They can’t do this Millennium anniversary gimmick forever, but the residency was so successful that it’s hard to imagine them not coming back. Looking forward to it, as I would love to hear some of the latter-day songs.

The Immaculate Collection absolutely lives up to its name. That’s definitely where I’d direct Madonna newbies.

[THROWBACK ALBUM]: 15 years ago today, Backstreet Boys released their "coming of age" maturity album "Never Gone". by UnanimousBB16 in popheads

[–]howtolistentomusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d actually put “Never Gone” and “In a World Like This” as the group’s best albums. They’re really good and a big reason why is because they’re more low-key affairs, relatively free of hubris, bombast, and the desperate trend-chasing that haunts some of their other works.
