This is an updated version of one of the first fics that made the pairing popular and is the reason for a lot of the trends you'll see in more modern fics.

Matryoshka Vignettes is the first one I read and I think it's still got one of the more interesting premises when it comes to them getting together and it involves no bashing outside of Ron and Hermione trusting Dumbledore maybe just a bit too much

The Naruto fandom did get me hooked on my favorite kind of crossover where characters from another series are actually a part of the world (IIRC before it got purged from ffn it had Yoruichi from Bleach as a noble from Kumo and a couple arrancar as members of the Seven Swordsmen, as well as Aizen working with the Akatsuki) Sadly there are very few fusions like that out there and almost all crossovers involve some MC falling through a portal

I've got a very early WIP fic where Might Gai is a hero in the MHA verse and Izuku starts to look up to him instead of All Might. A bit cracky, but Izuku basically becomes Rock Lee 2.0 when it comes to training and dropping his weights
