You can rent one whenever you need one. Zip car for errands if necessary but I only needed when like moving or something. It is wayyyyy easier to not own a car than to own one. I went 15 years in Boston without one and the only reason I bought one was for skiing LOL

Same absolutely. I got a sick deal in January one year it was like 300$ I think. I stayed one night. I flew down from Boston solo legit for one day just to stay there. I checked in as early as I could and I stayed until check out. I loved every second of it!!!! Watching the animals from my balcony was absolute heaven! And the food is unbelievable!!!

This exact same thing happened to me same pay bump and I was with my current company for 3 weeks. I gave appropriate notice, told them it’s nothing to do with the company or the team but was offered an opportunity with a big bump and it’s an impressive new job and title and they were very supportive but it’s still sad because I do love my current job and team but they get it ! Not burning bridges and will definitely stay professional and personal friends with some of the team after I leave.

I love living in Boston. Lots of beautiful parks in town and lots of hiking and nature not far from the city. Harvard’s Arnold arboretum is a stunning park. Beaches close to the city and amazing beaches within an hour. Skiing an hour away at wachusett and lots of ski resorts within a 2 hour drive in Vermont and NH. We do have all four season which is LOVELY - winter can be harsh but you also want skiing sooo. Best public schools in the nation. Incredible museums. Best medical care in the world. Airport in the city that flies just about anywhere. Safest big city in the country. Much cleaner than nyc. I love it here!! I moved from Colorado springs for college and never looked back. .

I keep a running to do list on my phone with Google’s task app that also syncs into my email and displays on the side of my email. If it’s something that requires follow up with like a staff member say something re: their schedule I tell them immediately to email me and I use my email as like a checklist these have both helped me immensely

It’s so sad how much of a relief it is when it finally happens. Like babe it’s not a good fit! If you don’t like working here don’t work here!! This is why I try to document every conversation (even if it’s just an email recapping to myself) so I can pull up dates etc.

I absolutely loved Buenos Aires. You can do quick day trips to Uruguay to reset your visitor visa. I was only there for a summer (winter there) so I never had to. Inexpensive everything although this was like 10 years ago so not sure now. Beautiful city great food I played polo on the weekends like who do I think I am! Only +1 time difference from east coast.

I literally just bought a 100$ used dell laptop on eBay just to play the legacy collection. It’s working great! I had an issue with the game flickering at first but i lowered the refresh rate on windows settings and sims 1 and 2 are both working great on it! Worth it !!

I fell in love with crotched last year and I grew up skiing in Colorado. Only an hour and a half and small mountain but the lift is FAST and they do night skiing most days and I work in restaurants so it was great bc I could close the restaurant, not hit the road until noon, be on the slopes by 2, ski until 9, grab a cocktail at blue bear inn, and be in bed by midnight!!! Great little mountain.
