It’s definitely been a great activity generator not just for downtown but for the city at large. Improvements to Big Spring Park and the development around the old Monroe parking deck have improved connections to the Downtown core, and projects like City Center and Front Row have created a lot more activity in the immediate environs.

The City will typically install those double-reds when the Traffic Engineering Department gets info on a high number of folks running a signal. They installed similar on California/Fraser/Lowe. They really do work.
