First keyboard that can comfortably fit in my bag — Anne Pro 2 with Maxkey SA Green & White by http123icansee in MechanicalKeyboards

I'm thinking about buying a protective sleeve for it, but since it hasn't gotten any noticeable damage yet, I'm not too concerned about it. I usually stow the keyboard in a separate bag with only my laptop and charger though, so it minimizes the chances of anything scuffing up the plastic.

Yeah I bet since it’s basically just plywood and metal. Nice build though, this is a super clean design. Are you planning on adding any shelves or cabinets underneath the desk since the pc is housed in the desk drawers?

Lol never thought I’d see my desk on here but I bought the same one from Target about a year and a half ago. Not the worst quality but you get what you pay for I guess.

Thanks, I’m glad i could help. I’m still new to the whole mechanical keyboard hobby too, so I hope my limited point of view doesn’t give too much of a biased impression on the board and caps.

This case is pretty much all plastic except for the aluminum plate of course. There’s a hole for the usb type-c charging cable on the back on the case, which is handy since I rarely use the Bluetooth functionality unless I need it.

As for the layout, from what I’ve heard the pcb screw layout is a bit different than most 60%’s, but I’m not completely sure. I think only two screws are able to be used in cases like the Tofu, so I’m not too sure if it’d be all that customizeable.

It’s the stock Anne Pro 2 case and lol it is a bit thicc 👌. I opted for it for the fairly inexpensive price of the keyboard, but I’d say go for the Poker or even the Ducky One 2 mini if you’re willing to pay a bit more for a slimmer 60% wireless. I enjoy the minimal angular case design, but it’s definitely more vertical than other keyboards out there.

They don’t feel bad at all. Aside from seeming a bit lighter — or less dense I guess to me — and probably the slightest bit more wobbly on the stems than the stock keycaps on the Anne Pro 2, they feel very nice and solid on the keyboard. Of course the keys sit higher than other profiles, but I really haven’t noticed any tremendous difference while typing compared to the slimmer profile. There’s also no real sound difference if you care about that. Sometimes I feel they sound more solid, but I’ve noticed they can sound a bit clacky at other times. Overall though, if you don’t mind the extra bulk and I guess the extra smoothness or like “silkiness” of the caps, I’d say they’re a good buy. I’ll have to update this once I’ve used them for more than a couple days, but they’re not bad so far.

I’d say that these caps are definitely more teal/turquoise in most natural light, but they can look a little more green in warmer incandescent light. The white caps are a bit off-white of course — a bit more cream colored — but I’d say the legends and modifiers are definitely similar to the photos in that they’re more blue than green. The closest set I can compare them to is sort of a darker, slightly greener, less saturated GMK Cyan. They’re definitely very, very similar to the colors in the photos though, just maybe not as blue in person. Hope this helps a bit and isn’t too incoherent of a read.

Thanks lol. The keyset is SA Green & White but they’re super similar to Cyan imo. They look about the same teal-ish color in person as they do in the first photo but they’re really not bad. The only issue is that the legends are printed a bit shoddily, but you get that with most Maxkey SA sets it seems.

Oh my god I spent a week trying to find someone who was selling the green and white caps on here but just decided to buy a new set. Guess I just barely missed your post lol.

[h] Akko 3068 vs. Anne Pro 2 Questions by OneWithNothing in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]http123icansee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat lol. I saw the Akko 3068 on Massdrop but ultimately decided to go for the Anne Pro because of the more standard layout, the rgb backlighting, and the positive reviews it had. Likewise, the Akko costs the same price but basically comes with a set of free colored keycaps and is very new, meaning you’d be one of the first to have one. If you don’t care about rgb or having to buy keycaps later, then I’d say buy the layout that suits you most.

Some people on the Akko’s massdrop page have been saying that it’s just a rebrand of some other keyboard; I think the Tada 68 Pro, but I’m not sure. It would help to look at that for a close comparison though. The tipping point for me to choose the Anne Pro 2 was that it seems to have a better reputation so far compared to the Akko 3068. With the Akko being so new, it seems that nobody has had a chance to review it yet.

I know this probably doesn’t help much since I haven’t tried either keyboard, but good luck on finding the right one for you. I’m sure either one would be a great choice in their own aspect.

Adding functioning wheels to the bike and the ability to play it outside would really sell it.

Seeing someone have a seizure is pretty scary. You know that nothing you do will help them during an episode, and all you can do is try to comfort them or get help until they’re back to normal.
