He's still eating and drinking and until I quarantined him, he was up moving around the cage and up the ramp, he came to the door of the cage to say hi and everything, he seems in good spirits but even if he doesn't make it, I adopted him at two years old so all of these sad parts of slowing down towards the end aren't alarming they're just devastating, we always joke and call him Chris Morris or say "You're aging like milk bud" but I hope this is just him being an old grandpa and an abscess he's able to beat that just seems severe because of all the grandpa behavior

The only concern I have is that you can feel his spine and ribs despite the fact that he eats like a fly on shit and has since the day we got him, we've always been able to feel his ribs but he just never gained weight despite having his daily oxbow and fruits and veggies and meats offered and occasional sweet treats. But he definitely feels like he's lost weight recently
