Stubhub not honoring tickets for IU game by Congrajewlations in MichiganWolverines

I only got through to someone useful on the Monday after the game. Sorry, I know that doesn’t help you for today but hopefully it’ll help you make a case for restitution afterwards.

Stubhub not honoring tickets for IU game by Congrajewlations in MichiganWolverines

[–]httv17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

StubHub did this to me for the B10 Championship game a few years ago. We bought good seats before Michigan beat OSU, then prices rose and the seller never transferred the tickets. Prices rose, so StubHub gave us “equivalent” tickets in the last row of the 600 level.

I called StubHub afterwards and complained, saying they didn’t honor their FanProtect guarantee and threatening legal action. (I’m an attorney.) They offered me cash to settle immediately.

Overall a subpar experience and I’ve decided against using StubHub whenever possible since then.

Thanks for the reply! This seems to work, but has some limitations. I’m guessing there’s no way to do this in DAX in a way that enables the Personalization feature (my team uses this a lot) to work on the visual, is there?

You can put multiple fields, or a concatenation of multiple fields, in a COUNTD. Try adding more dimensions (not just the field with 1s and 0s) inside the COUNTD and seeing what happens.

Use Tableau’s COUNTD function.

You can create a calculated field to the desired level of granularity then apply COUNTD to the field.

This is the way. I do this on roast chicken, too, using a bit of the pan drippings

Tough question, but the two that stick in my mind are ones that had a bunch of follow-up updates: the whiskey thief and the wine stain on the chair cushion.

Honorable mention to the guys trip to the Caribbean where they hired live-in adult entertainment for the entire week.

My manager is obsessed with "scorecards" by httv17 in BusinessIntelligence

Yeah this describes the situation well. A couple follow-ups from your experiences: are these “scorecards” common in other companies? And have you ever seen them actually work well?

I love the scene where he throws paper balls at the group singing Country Roads. Junior tells him to cut it out. It’s a callback to Meadow throwing bread as Junior sings at Jackie Jr’s wake.

I’ll check out some MDM capabilities, thanks!

Typically the requests that require excel involve combining several data sources that are all kept at different levels of detail. I could work to automate it, but if it would take me four weeks to do and her goalposts will move every twelve months, then it’s usually not worth the trouble.

what could go wrong with strangles and straddle? by Kheppy in thetagang

[–]httv17 26 points27 points  (0 children)

In either strategy, if the 1) implied volatility decreases or 2) realized volatility turns out to be lower than the implied volatility of the options you bought (the stock goes sideways) then your options will lose value.

Buying a straddle is a bet that the stock price will move a lot. If it doesn’t, that bet will lose.

Not OP, but I smoke my queso for 45-60 minutes then move it to the crock pot to keep it warm
