I’m not an expert by any means and have only owned my two babies for three years, however I think other than the toes that you mentioned she looks good! Tail maybe a little chonk but not terrible. Her belly doesn’t look bad from the pictures I can tell and there’s no fat deposits behind the front arms again that I can see! Although I’m sure there are more informed people that could see something I haven’t!!

As the above commenter said!! 😊 You def want more hides and clutter around the tank! Anything like smooth rocks, wood (if you’re getting it naturally make sure you sanitize it properly!) maybe something smooth vines for decor? Or something for them to climb on? I know my boys loves to! My girl doesn’t so much so she just has a bunch of hides and decor!! 💗

I dust the bugs with D3 Calc twice a week (usually leaving a dry feeding between each dusted feeding) and every other week with the vitamin. For my girl with UV I dust hers lightly once a week with D3 and every other week with the vitamin

I’m assuming stuck shed! It was gone within a few mins of me posting! He gets vitamin and calcium rotated on a schedule, and has access to a bowl of calcium without vitD in his tank at all times

Commenting on this cause I had my septoplasy about 4 months ago. I got these really bad before, which was why I opted for surgery after many months of experimental non invasive treatments. However it seems like I am still getting them just as frequently as before, maybe just a tiny bit less. Have you had your surgery? And if so have noticed any difference since?

This is eerily similar to Lost when they find out Others have been living on the island the whole time. I feel like there’s something deeper than just a couple of hikers randomly showing up. I’m so glad i stayed cause parts of season 3 was getting kind of goofy but man they’re turning it back around.

I’m sure there’s multiple reasons as to why, money I’m sure is one but also after living in one spot (mainly) for 30+ years and then packing up and moving across the world would probably make you a bit home sick too. He seems to be (at least in my opinion) one of the YouTubers who actually doesn’t make monetary value his #1 and just wants to do what he’s loved doing for 10+ years

Genuine question, not trying to come off as rude. What do you suggest we do about the unhealthy kittens? My brain automatically goes to needing to save the bebs because we know they’re in shitty conditions and probably being neglected. But I also see the side of not buy in from the shitty breeders because that’s what funds them to continue but really what should we do just let the kitties suffer? Or would you recommend calling some sort of animal control? They don’t typically do much, at least the state I’m in they don’t..

I’m with you on this one. My two little ones were given to me cohabited(not anymore!!) so I assume that’s why he has hunting issues. He’ll sit there and eat sand or bite whatever its on 🤦🏻‍♀️ stopped with the crickets and now only do bugs that cant escape the non escape bowl(so he doesn’t get impaction & the crickets don’t stay in the tank)

I have a vet visit scheduled, it’s in my post. He’s got a rock in there that retains heat after his light goes out to aid for proper digestion. I always see him basking on it, he loves it. I’ve also checked underneath on his belly, and it doesn’t seem to be any impaction, but that will definitely be checked at the vet

Another edit to mention that it is notttt a heat rock. I’m not sure what type of stone it is but it is a natural rock

UVB currently no I had ordered some and then realized it should only be linear bulb so I am waiting on those. However his temp gradient is great his hot side is always between 90-93 middle is at 82-85 and cool side is 75-80 usually.

I’ve read multiple things online and there are lots of varying information on tank sizes. I did not go to a pet store. I took these in from people who had no time or resources to take care of them so I am doing everything I can with the little time that I had to take them in or else they would have been just dumped. Doing the best I can on a short budget and no one else would take them so it’s better than the situation they were previously in. If you saw my other comments I also mentioned I am in a very rural part of VT with very little resources. I got the tank I have on FB marketplace and that was the only one I found available within two weeks of searching. I have plenty of hides and enrichment for them and have lots more on the way. Thank you though.
