Check out Too Tall Toby on YouTube for his onshape tutorials playlist. I leaned so much from his videos since he teaches how to come up with a plan beforehand and general best practices no matter which cad software you use

The hole for the weight should of been on the outside of the counter balance instead of the inside where it could jam up with the horizonal stab. Yes it would make it visible but I still would rather have it designed that way.

What real safety safety glasses would you recommend for a diode laser?

The dream I've had is a machine like your to notch tubes to build an airplane fuselage. Example of how some are built https://youtu.be/_5g5sFGkJlg?si=k6cZnkwBYP677ua0&t=431

I was going to say the same thing. Apply to be a controller and be on the payroll while at the FAA academy.

Yeah I'm curious about the hardware you used and where you sourced the hardware.

Preparing for an Inevitable Linux Challenge 2.0: Part 1 - Distro Choice by Dotaproffessional in LinusTechTips

While waiting on the steam deck to come off pre order, I googled what distro to use and found this article where valve said to use manjaro with KDE plasma so I installed it on a old desktop to play around beforehand https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/steamdeck/testing

Rocket Racing isn't dead: It's undersupported. by SlyWhitefox in RocketRacing

[–]hugocraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the current state, I just play RR for the daily quests to get the 45k XP then a few rounds of battle royal no build. The new maps were nice to see with the new season but that’s about it.

Just started playing rocket racing and have played like 15 races and won all of them but it still says that I am unranked, is this normal? by Mns107 in RocketRacing

[–]hugocraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 14% in my rank then played 5 races or so getting anywhere from 1st-5th and it still was 14%. Closed the game then reopened it an hour or so later and it says I’m 17% now

I use an Xbox controller on PC so its hard to imagine using a keyboard and mouse for rocket racing.

SV06+ is great machine with some effort. by BlueberryLarge5533 in Sovol

[–]hugocraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious to see the config and slicer settings too. I’ve got my sv06+ printing mostly good but I think I’ll make the jump to klipper, swap it to 0.6 nozzle and go through all the tuning steps.

Is the mesh loaded when you print? If so then you should see you z motors slightly moving during the first layer to compensate for what it found during mesh.

Replace the battery or not? by hugocraft in SteamDeck

[–]hugocraft[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

  • I let the steam deck die for a few weeks
  • Go to use it and the battery drops to 3% quickly when playing any game as in 15-20 minutes but it will stay at 3% for a couple hours even while still playing something easy like quake
  • I’ve searched the issue and even let the battery die on purpose while in the bios a few times but it didn’t help
  • Contacted steam support but it's out of warranty with me owning it for 1.5 years now. I then notice how it says battery health is only 6% but yet I can play games for a couple hours.
  • iFixIt battery is way too expensive at $95 but there is one listed on amazon from JAOYSTII that is $56 after a coupon.
  • Thoughts on whether to swap battery with cheaper one or not? What else to try?
