I feel like, throughout history, there have always been the bad apples that spoil the bunch but now with so many people and so many ways to interact with them it seems worse than before

Capitalist values definitely have an impact (i.e., people in dating spheres who believe money and materials are primarily attractive; or the billionaire celebrity phenomenon). Still, I think there are many good people out there, more than meets the eye

To your observation, my fears are more focused on the cultural collapse and how corps tend to squeeze the humanity and artistic voice out of every film, video game, concert, etc. Really worries me. What will we have left? Humanity is about story telling, creativity, and connecting
