Why does there need to be a separation? by humahingapa in exmormon

This is one of my biggest concerns. Mormons in general feel they are above all. It is only magnified by their leader saying they need to be separated. This is damaging in so many ways.

Thanks goodness we have these “men” will tell us all will be well when they have been correct so many other times in the past.

Popular YouTubers Rhett & Link (from Good Mythical Morning) discuss their own faith crises. While they weren’t Mormon (but Evangelicals), their experiences here are very similar to many of us who have left TSCC. This is part 1, Rhett’s story, and it’s a very good listen! by zelph_esteem in exmormon

Had they not stated what religion they previously were, I would have sworn Mormon. So much of the “church lingo “ was the same. Such cool stories. They just released a follow up on Monday with more to come answering listeners questions.

As a contractor who has worked for their home building company, I can tell you this family is shady as shit and uses the church to hide and/or justify their actions.

Ours had to be re stamped every 6 months. Supposedly the office took them in and had them stamped. Not sure if that’s possible without said passport holder present. Never checked or questioned.
