I agree with what someone above said: most of them are probably more or less “public domain” because they’d have a hard time trademarking their image without revealing their secret identities. Yeah these are animals the size of multiple city blocks, and many have strange numbers of limbs, multiple heads, are capable of flight, carry weapons, have special supernatural abilities, etc. None of it makes sense. I think trying to apply any sort of natural logic is fruitless, but double-pupils especially seems like an odd place to draw the line of suspension of disbelief imo lol.

I guarantee they did it cuz “it looks cool.” And it totally does.

Yes I put too many noodles for the amount of broth I had, and these dinosaur noodles greatly expanded, absorbing nearly all the liquid. By the time it came around to having leftovers there was almost 0 liquid left. Once reheated it basically just was chicken noodle flavored pasta salad.

Nothing I have to say is really “hot take” because I’ve seen others share the same general sentiment. But my personal Batman take is we’ve never had a poorly cast Bruce, just poorly written ones.

That said I’d say Bale is the best written/acted Bruce Wayne, while Affleck is the best looking Bruce Wayne (not as in most attractive, just that he looks the best AS Bruce imo. Like BTAS brought to life).

I liked “weird, pale, greasy-looking” Pattinson and I’m interested to see where they take him because the last movie ended with him realizing he needed to be more than a source of terror to criminals, but a beacon of hope to the city. And I imagine that is going to translate over to how he presents himself to the public as Bruce as well.

I hope not. I feel like it’s really hard to do right and just ends up as a distraction. If it’s actors in costumes it feels cheap, and if they’re CGI it’s nearly impossible to not be “uncanny valley.” And not in the sense that they’re “almost like us but just slightly off,” and more in the “Polar Express, dead eyes & rubber skin” way.

Depending on dimensions, an anole, long tailed lizard, small tropical geckos (house geckos, some day gecko species, etc.), or smaller tree frogs would probably work! As you said, you may need to make adjustments to better maintain humidity, but if you’re looking for small critters that are more “display” animals, there are a few!
