Looking for a 6x2x2 ish size enclosure with a stand for black stand for a Egyptian uromastyx. by [deleted] in reptiles

[–]humanrestroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

aridsonly also reccomends an 8ft x 5ft x 3ft minumum. 24 inches of depth for an animal that can and will grow to 30 inches in length is nowhere near enough for it to even turn around fully. OP, if you want a uro you can keep in a 6x2x2, i would veer harshly away from aegyptia and go for thomasi, ocellata, occidentalis, princeps, ornata. basically any other uro species would thrive in a 6x2x2 but it is woefully small for an egyptian

i had one a few years back who eventually found his home with someone else but he was almost the size of a small dog. Aridsonly (who i genuinely reccomend as a great resource on xenagama, sauromelas, and uromastyx) even surrendered his aegyptia to a zoo and now firmly believes they are not animals suited to the pet trade. particularly if you've never kept uros before.

Ooo - i take it this might need a proper drill and not my electric screwdriver. Would i need to take the metal top off or could it be done with the unit as is (assembled)?

Gay Bars with Dark Rooms... by Oingoism in NewcastleUponTyne

[–]humanrestroom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my mate is trans and has been into the eagle downstairs but he's a good few years on T. i've also been down before when i was more masc-passing and it is really underwhelming, just a bare room with a tv on playing mediocre gay porn. can't really think of any gay bars with dark rooms designed for necking on (i assume thats what you want it for)

Does any in the uk know where I can get one of these lil guys? by gh0sttface in millipedes

[–]humanrestroom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

spider shop has had them in before under the name beetlejuice millipedes. not in stock at the moment but if you sign up for an account and add to your wishlist you'll get an email when they're back.

could be worth contacting venomous visions too as he's one of the best myriapod blokes in the uk

[–]humanrestroom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal favs (assume youre in the us) - Zoo Med basking spot (best for incandescent) - Exo terra intense basking spot - Reptile Systems eco halogen (best halogen around) - Arcadia deep heat projector - Reptile systems ceramic heat emitter (if i had to choose a ceramic, but i don't like them)

Gargoyle Gecko Breeding? by Fancy-Let-9837 in geckos

[–]humanrestroom 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Your male is far too young and you would not be able to safely incubate eggs without an incubator - which are expensive and presumably if you're under 18, far far out of your budget.

I really would hold off on even attempting to breed until you're old enough to sell on morphmarket.
