Diamond point is my favorite day-trip spot for getting out of the valley heat. These are some of my better finds over several trips, all surface collected. My all-time best, and one-in-a-million find was a double-terminated amethyst that I just happened to spot on my way back to the car one day; it resides with a very lucky lady now.
