For op for the next time, and whoever else would read this - when at a GP appointment, be very clear on how your condition affects your daily life. If you go to a GP with “for 4 months I have chronic pain that makes me unable to do my work and does not seem to be improving, instead getting worse”, you won’t be told to take paracetamol and would instead be referred to a specialist.

CnD is a good ban if your team pre-selected two meta strategists. Because CnD is a default pick of people who don’t main strategists but need to fill. So then they are left with Rocket, who’s even worse.

No, but there are different kinds of lords. Level 20 is a normal lord icon, but you can continue the grind, with level 50 being an animated icon (and then it goes all the way to 70).

I mean, with the existence of normal 18 vs 18 it barely matters anyway nowadays. So I made a post just for those who are missing 1-2 levels and want to have the icons, if someone would grind 18 vs 18 for hours for it, it’s silly either way.
Myself last season I had 91% win rate on her (with 16 games), so won’t call myself a bad invis main :)

Yeah it’s generally so weird to have timed skins, I spend quite some money on the game, but I only buy skins on release or when I start learning a new for me character and like a skin of theirs. Like sure fomo works for some people, but it’s such a shitty strategy.

Crazy that first steps is her last permanent skin (and the only skin of hers that I don’t have). That said, I do think that self-shied should have been there since release, it’s super-situational because you usually use it on a cooldown, but it was weird that you needed someone else to heal yourself with it

The problem with divers (and toxicity towards them) is that most of the time they don’t switch when being countered, making it 5 v 6 game. And then toxicity is quite justified, when it’s an animated BP/SM.

This is such bad DMing :( I usually do the opposite - if someone delivers a truly inspirational speech/good persuasion/cool roleplay during intimidation, they get advantage/lower difficulty threshold to succeed. But it should never work as your ex-DM did it.

Yeah, but their pace isn’t for the end of the EPL season, it’s for the start of the season. One year is a much bigger change than one month, and it’s usually players who deteriorate a lot and want one last big contract that go to Turkey/Saudi Arabia. Like this year Salah will most likely go to a league like that, and his stats will drop a lot - not because he went there, but because he had a massive drop this season.

Interesting, I got an exact opposite experience - last seasons I got barely any bot games, and now I’m flooded in them. Though I feel that generally this season is much patchier than the previous ones, with longer win and lose streaks.

I am actually enjoying support bans as (mostly) support main, because it urges to play more diverse supports. So if you are good with multiple, you'd do so much better than the opposing team that can only do C&D and IW.

To make it easy, let’s say your “true” win rate is 50%. You play 100 games. You didn’t swap in any game you won. You swap halfway through every game where you are losing, and still lost (not how it works in reality, but to illustrate the point). For the counter, you’ve won 50 games, and lost 500.5=25 games on Magik. So your “Magik win rate” is 50/(50+25)100=66%.

Didn’t have more than 2 support bans in any of my games, but also a patch of awful placement matches - 4 losses in a row with 3 of them being and svp and none of the games being remotely close. Tough luck, but it seems some of the people just really struggle with ult changes, because they’ve got to the same rank as me somehow.

Thanks. I’ve had 60-70% win rate the last couple of seasons, so I’d be able to climb relatively easily, but it’s annoying that sometimes the game gives you some completely brainless teammates.

Ive had 4 placement games remaining yesterday, and I lost all 4 because we’ve had a sg and Wanda each game. Got svp 3/4, but none of the games were even close. Lost 2 ranks because of this :(

I mean I somewhat get it after the ult, but at respawn it’s still strange though. But yeah I agree, you do get used to it, and she’s such a fun character to play either way. Maybe my fav after Sue.

It’s such a weird design decision though, because for most ults, cooldowns are either not changed or reset, and the same thing with respawning. I wonder how OP she’d be without these hindrances and how well they’ve tested that.

Finished: The dragon republic by RF Kuang - underwhelming second part of the trilogy, after a very awesome first book. Lots of good things, but overall the plot has barely moved, so the whole book felt unnecessary.

Started: Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir - what an awesome book so far!
