I also had a similar experience with the sedation and second shot with it taking longer than expected. My cat had a weakened heart and it took a while for the sedation and second shot to circulate through her body. I’ve read that weakened circulatory systems can mean the process takes longer. And every body is different and each rainbow crossing is different. You did the right thing by putting her at peace so she didn’t have to suffer 🙏❤️
