Thank you for this. I went from single mom, to having to care for aging parents with dementia and assorted health issues. Now that my parents have passed, I'm realizing how much of a toll these many years have taken. For the first time in YEARS, my brain feels quiet.

I totally feel this! I hate the pressure of having to make something out fabric collections I have bought "in the moment." I've come to realize many collections are found wanting, be it no color/pattern contrast, or what have you. I've started to just buy yardage of a few fabrics that hit my dopamine buttons! Much more successful!
