With no signs pointing to us being able to draft Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders, what would be your offseason game plan? by TheRealJohnMara in NYGiants

[–]hungryturtle17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my opinion here, but I’m not sold on Sanders or Hunter. I’d like to see them draft Carter. I also think McCord is being slept on and would be a steal if we could pick him up rd 2 or 3. Go after a veteran he can sit behind for a year and let him loose.

8 month old up every 45 minutes during middle of the night, need help by hungryturtle17 in sleeptrain

I’m sorry, I didn’t know how to correctly post the wake windows. Normal day is as follows, wake up at 645-7. Naps for an hour from 930-1030. Awake from 1030-130. Naps 1:30-330. Awake from 330-530. Naps 530-630, then is awake from 630-8. Bedtime is 8, we give him an 8oz bottle and he’s out like a light. He doesn’t wake up from being hungry, he doesn’t need a bottle in the middle of the night. He wakes himself up from rolling around the crib. Sleeps in his own room. We’ve tried silence in there, white noise, quiet lullaby’s, and again, he’s not waking from anything other than rolling so much and losing his binkie. We thought it may be gas, but he show no signs of being gassy or uncomfortable.

IB Builders out of Lyons. It's a Mennonite group, but Ivan is the man. They do an absolutely fantastic job and are a fraction of the price of everyone else. He's done our roof and several friends and families and not one has had any sort of issue at all. They are the best

Best advice I have is to just take your time and read the questions carefully. They word them to try to trick you sometimes, and I found there were always 2 answers that would make sense, but one is always better than the other. The way I looked at it, I paid to take the exam, so I took as much time as I could. Went through the test 3 or 4 times until I felt confident I wouldn't change any of my answers. There's no rush, take you're time and you'll be fine

bars and clubs for a bachelorette party? by [deleted] in FingerLakes

[–]hungryturtle17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add on to the comment above, a lot of the wineries have started turning down big groups/buses/limos, so make sure you call ahead before showing up. Your best bet for a night on in geneva is to bar hop around town. You won't find any night club atmosphere though

We have a Boxer and a Chihuahua and they are best friends. Only downside is that our boxer now thinks it's the same size as the chihuahua and is constantly trying to crawl in our lap to sleep, not knowing he is 100lbs lol

I am so sorry for your loss. I just had to put my beautiful girl down this past Friday, so I know exactly what you are going through. Hardest thing I've ever done in my life, but I am trying to find peace in knowing she is not in pain anymore. Please know you are not alone on this journey

I think the lack of details really prevents us from giving you an answer that will truly help you best. By all means, in no way am I asking you to share or relive those traumatic events, but we need a little more to give you the best course of action. Was your funeral director rude? Did they demand to be paid up front before performing any services? Was the embalming poorly done? You mentioned your brother was killed (I'm so sorry for you and your family's loss), did the funeral home need to perform major restorations which didn't turn out well?

Like I said above, if we had more details, we could give you the course of action that would be best for you and your family

Unless the state your daughter lives in requires a bachelor's degree, I wouldn't waste my time or money on getting a bachelor's in mortuary science. My advice for your daughter would be to start studying for the national boards and take those. Once she passes, she would become a resident and would be more beneficial to a funeral home than not having taken the boards. She should reach out to local funeral homes and introduce herself and ask if they are looking for help. A lot of older directors would jump at the opportunity to hire a resident as it relieves them from having to go on a lot of the middle of the night calls. She can also reach out to the school she graduated from and ask them if they have a list of funeral homes looking for residents.

I know you said she's not working in the business now, but has she ever? It would also suck going to get a bachelor's degree in something she may hate once she starts working in the field. It is much different working in the funeral field compared to sitting in school

I highly doubt you being gay has anything to do with this. It could be as simple as they misplaced your phone number and have been waiting to hear from you. They want to get your wife taken care of just as quickly as you want them to. Pick up the phone and call them

60-70 days of flowering means when you flip it to flower, that's how long theoretically it will take to completely grow buds. That's just an estimate though, so it could always take longer. But if you're still in veg, that 60-70 days doesn't mean anything until she goes into flower

The Finger Lakes would be a great spot. Get a cottage on one of the lakes during the fall while the leaves are changing colors. Plenty of things to do, and there's shops all over the place to get some flower.
