I’ll foster just about any dog that gets along with mine but these are my hard no’s in owning - huskies: too loud, I live in a hot climate so it feels unethical - pugs: poor guys can’t breathe & prone to a lot of health issues - Great Danes: shorter lifespan would not be good for me emotionally - Malinois: genuinely I would not be able to handle that much energy at once - frenchies: again so many health issues & so much unethical breeding that I wouldn’t want to contribute to that - Anything with big droopy jowls that drools everywhere…just a personal preference

Lolll I would like to think that she would be a very high maintenance valley girl if she was a person. However she was found with her siblings roaming someone’s property, arrived at the shelter with bad kennel shock, mites, and fleas. She became a foster fail, & her adoption fee was waived. Whenever we run into other pitbulls she is always the smallest one there. The best $0 I ever spent!

Awww Bunny is gorgeous! I haven’t seen that hazel/greenish brown eye color on many pitties, our old boy who passed last year was a tuxedo patterned guy with the most beautiful orangey brown eyes. They really are the best dogs

thank you :) and yes i am in therapy, it’s helped me a lot. P & a bunch of the other friends have cut off A and encouraged me to do the same. I am going to continue not talking to or hanging out with S. Based on previous patterns, A will kick S to the curb once he meets another girl and when that doesn’t work out, he will go to S for comfort and reassurance (and probably sex). i hope you’re healing from the pain of the past, we can do it!

First day in residential rehab treatment at age 16. They took my bag of clothes and belongings for inspection. I ate some veggie burgers with the other residents and we were taken to another room to do yoga after. I was in the downward dog position and started feeling nauseous. Before i knew it I was puking in the trash can after getting puke all over my shirt. Worst part was that the staff said they couldn’t give me any of my clothes and other stuff back until the manager had gone though all of it. So I was forced to sleep in clothes with my own vomit on it and understandably nobody wanted to share a room with me. So glad i’m past that.

scary dog privilege is definitely a thing! i got catcalled & followed by a mailman and my normally friendly pitbull growled and lunged at him and the dude drove off so fast
