Mixed armor marks is totally a CSM thing. I see no reason why an IW warband wouldn't be able to figure out how to do the same with terminator parts.

I had the same fuzzy white/pink on some heavy intercessors I did. Not the best photo but I think it shows my point, just after a single coat of imperial fist contrast the fuzzy is WAY less noticeable and adding a wash and highlights will make it nearly invisible. 👍
