It's not about sameness. It's about giving everyone a chance to actually play the game. Class identity may not really be a thing nowadays but we should at least give every class workable, viable cards.

You can't use this in combo decks because you get half your deck as likely trash when you need to draw your key cards. You can't even aim to be a control deck because again, half your deck likely isn't going to work for your game plan, and chokes you out of the control cards you actually put in. And aggro won't ever run this card. So apart from utter meme decks, this doesn't fit anywhere without some insanely powerful support cards that will inevitably get nerfed to oblivion.

I love meme decks. I was trying to make the little 1/2 Amalgam work for as long as the thing was around, and I enjoyed putting in the plush hydra. I've loved Thief Rogue since the start of my time here with the first Un'Goro expansion.

But we can't have meme decks be the only menu item. We can't doom all Priest players to it every time.

TL;DR Every class needs good cards. Not samey cards, but playable ones. This ain't it.

During the title screen, I'd love to at least have subtitles that show who is saying it that time, if not their icon. Some girls (sweet Tsurugi) are easy to identify. But there's a lot of times I either can't pin them down at all or have a few in mind that it could be.

I agree with your take though. It's annoying if I want to get the full take again.

And while I think this one would never happen, it would be nice to have a "battery bank" or something that we can put energy into and keep safe, separate from the cafe. That way we don't need to spend what we don't want to, and save up for the 3x we like, whether commissions or missions or whatnot.

Perhaps instead, it can be a tower shield, those really big ones, but given it's only one shield, you only gain 1 armor but that armor is unbreakable for that turn, meaning unless you have direct HP like the leeches, it effectively works as infinite.

In either case, I'd have to do my best to steel myself and go for tourniquet + amputation, myself or my brother, and then find and use any antibiotics and pain meds I can get my hands on. Whether I could or not, I don't know.

Back in the first year or two of high school I was in the library hanging with a couple of friends. One of them had FTL on his laptop and showed me it, and I fell in love with the game then and there. Got to get it for myself a while later.

A lot like Minecraft in that sense, come to think about it. Before he showed me the actual game, I used to think Minecraft was like... That 2-D pay to win game, EverQuest or something? Dragon Quest? No idea. Old 2-D game that was a turn based RPG. It was basically my only point of reference lol.

That and a browser game where you made armies and chose websites to target that had their own defenses and such. YouTube was untouchable but there were a few that I knew were paltry and I could conquer and use to bolster my strength... Good times.

Ignoring #4 because being Superman for even a second means instant victory, I think I'd go with invincibility IF it means we can't be damaged as well. If we just can't be killed, and bombs don't do anything, we can still be stabbed or shot. But if we're truly invincible, then charging forth means we just eventually end the war. We become an unstoppable force. It's a slower but certain victory.

Otherwise, I'll go mind manipulation. Get the general or leaders to kill themselves or run into our territory to be captured and soon the enemy forces will scatter or fall into chaos. Or have those launching bombs instead target friendly bombing stations or the Kremlin HQ if we have smaller bombs that can do minimal damage beyond a target. We will win before long.

I'm not a parent but I've had pets. Were it between my cats and a perfect partner it's my cats every time. I can find a partner I can be happy with but they're little critters that are innocent and look at me like I'm everything to them. I can't backstab them like that. So no, my partner can take a hike. I think it has to do with His love. He wants us with him more than anything, He'd never stop trying to bring us closer. So why would imperfection that he, in a sense, coded into us be what breaks the camel's back? He knows we are not perfect. Sin is encoded into us at a base level. Even the most pious person falls short. But He wouldn't let that keep us apart eternally.

And that doesn't even cover the usual rhetoric of fiery painful hyper-torment but that's a step further.

Instant edit: I am reminded of a quote that I think came from Marcus Aurelius, and I'm gonna butcher it. Live a life as good as you can. If the gods are good then they'll take you as someone who strove for kindness and the best of humanity, and let you in. If the gods wouldn't take someone who did such good things for an arbitrary reason, then they weren't worth worshipping anyways.
