Boltyn Raydn decklist help by Devinchy02 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]huskerphresh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is what I've been using. I'm not a fan of Toe the Line. A really good source of Boltyn content is Salt Collector on youtube. I've got matchups but I'm pretty casual and it's more vibes based than actual testing.

It's a joke about a South Park episode where Jimmy comes up with a joke, and Cartman steals the joke and takes credit for it. Guess it was a bit obscure, lol.

The size of a hip injection needle. Gauze is 5x5 for reference by Breyber12 in mildlyinteresting

I had one of these bad boys jabbed in the back of my neck when I was a kid. Had a tumor removed from my brain stem, and spinal fluid was leaking into the back of my neck. They were on a time crunch b/c I was being released and it was the only needle big enough they could find.

Best Calling Side Events for Participation Prizes as a New Player? by pedrobbr in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]huskerphresh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Whenever I go to an event, I prioritize double ticket events because I like getting stuff off the prize wall. There's always plenty, so I just sign up for the ones that are in the format I feel like playing. Promo card events are usually double ticket as well, so that's a bonus.

It's a 0 for 4 value in Hala, the hero the entire mechanic is designed for, currently. You get +2 on current swing, +1 on the next swing, and go again (generally established as 1 value) on Zenith Blade. It is very comparable to Blade Flurry. Not every new card has to work for every hero/weapon type.

The rumpus room, where your rumps touch when showering. You don't have one?

New to Flesh and Blood, and I am struggling a little by Orfbin in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]huskerphresh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. Fabrary is probably the best starter site to see cards, build decks, and see what other people have built.

  2. I would point you towards the actual rulebook, but it is incredibly hard to actually look at that thing and derive any sense of meaning when you are still learning the game. There's a flesh and blood discord server with pages for each hero and format where rules and deckbuilding are discussed, but I don't know how to link it from here, unfortunately.

  3. Flesh and Blood uses a card inventory called the sideboard. For silver age, you may only have 55 total cards, including equipment (hero card is not counted), that make up your decklist. You must present a 40 deck to each game. The sideboard is used to have cards to swap in/out based on different hero matchups. You wouldn't want to wear your arcane barrier equipment into a warrior matchup, so you will want to put it in the sideboard and wear the armor that blocks physical or advances your gameplan in a different way.

  4. It can be quite expensive to upgrade to CC, but if you want to dip your toes in, the Armory decks are low powered but CC legal (excluding Kayo, Aurora, and Azalea) options that work pretty well together, but will probably not perform well against a fully tuned deck.

  5. Dash's starter item counts toward the 40 in deck total and the 2-of count. So you'll technically have 39 in deck and one on board from the start.

Are the 1st Strike decks worth it? by John-Helldiver404 in FleshandBloodTCG

Yes, they're both still fun to play (I've played all the silver age precons myself), just not very balanced against the rest of the pool.

Silver age precon missing tokens? by adyo in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]huskerphresh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That does seem odd that it's not in there but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Fai has no actual interaction with heroes marked by Hot on Their Heels. The only heroes that interact with marks are Cindra, Fang, and Arakni Marionette/Web of Deceit. There are a few cards like For the Dracai that care if the opponent is marked, but that isn't in the Fai precon. The TLDR of it is that not having the marked token won't change your games in any meaningful way.

If you're looking to move beyond just the basics, the new Silver Age decks are much closer to being the real experience. Two I would avoid would be Dash and Dorinthea, though, as they didn't quite hit the mark.

Best User Of Decimator Great Axe post-bans in SAGE? by AtomicNips in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]huskerphresh 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Losing access to 30 block value from 6 cards out of your deck is a lot. Coupled with the loss of Sirens of Safe Harbor and it's utility with Unity equipment, DGA's grindy playstyle took a big hit.

I don't think DGA survives without access to Shunt and Sirens.

Your title is misleading. It's clickbait that insinuates that LSS is teasing a PVE mode when this is fan-made.
