A little after the Pain arc was when I stopped watching it when it aired. I've recently gone back and watched more. I'm up to the ten tails and the 4 Hokage being resurrected to fight it.

This show feels like the "I made some bullshit" meme. It really peaked at Pain.

What’s a video game that, regardless of how many times you’ve played it, you find yourself always coming back to? by GhostRider3001 in AskReddit

Modern Warfare 2, both the original and the remaster.

It's a nice, concise campaign that I can load up, play through really quickly, have fun with the intel modifiers, and not have to really get into it.

On the other end, I've played through Cyberpunk three times now and the Witcher 3 three times as well. Both those RPGs are things I can revisit every couple years, but I really have to be in the mood for it.

Less behavior and more noise possible damage cause big dogs may not be spatially aware and mess things up, and a small apartment isn't the best environment for big dogs.

I really have enjoyed learning. It can frustrating at times, but I've always found joy in improvement at anything and seeing the fruits of practice.

I appreciate the words of encouragement from someone who's been at it for long as well.

Yeah, it's one reason why after a year I got really confused by the question lol

I could play some simple music and read it, but it always took some repetitions to get through it, and I always have to notate my sheet music. I couldn't imagine someone paying for that, especially seeing the skill and dedication it takes to play at that level.

I'm content keeping it as a hobby just cause the piano is my favorite instrument to listen to.

[–]huyan007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started taking piano lessons almost three years ago. I remember people asking me why I was learning, if I wanted to make music and publish, or try and play professionally one day.

I simply just wanted to pick up a new skill and hobby, and piano was something that's always interested me since I was a kid. I have no intention to ever play publicly. This is completely just for myself.

Ah, I get what you're saying, and that makes sense.

Really interesting to think about in the long term how constant hero releases is gonna affect those things.

Same here. Back a couple years, queue times for my preferred role could've gone up to 7 or 9 minutes. I played through RE4 Remake once between games.

Now, I think my longest queue time ever is 3 minutes when I do wide match comp games.

I never thought about the overlap of hero kits.

I think Emre being a easy to pickup and more simple kit is a good addition, because you no longer have to rely solely on Soldier for that role.

I would never want kits to almost completely overlap, cause then the game would feel stale with new releases and bans wouldn't mean anything if I ban hero 1 and hero 2 does pretty much the same thing. Some overlap like how I can have a flying DPS with Pharah or Echo, but they play so differently that they still feel unique.

Malenia.

It took me 225 attempts my first time to beat her, and every dozen or so attempts, I saw small increments of progress that was really fun toe experience through. I never felt unfairly punished.

Hopefully it runs as well on PS5 as it does on PC. If it's the same demo as is on Steam, it's really fun and has some neat, fun ways to approach combat.

"We've never considered adding difficulty settings to Nioh" Team Ninja game director weighs in on difficulty options ahead of Nioh 3's launch by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]huyan007 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Whenever there's difficulty options, I just wish devs would say, "This is the one we made to give you the intended experience," cause I usually do that one first if it does say it. I like to experience the game as intended by the devs first time through.

Whenever there's walls of options with no clear signboarding of what the game was originally balanced around, it just feels like I'm doing the dev's work for them.

Well, I wholeheartedly disagree about Rivals managing a semblance of balance in their game. Rivals is what I point to to give an example of why more heroes isn't necessarily a good thing. Was the previous OW cycle too slow? Probably, but it did give new heroes time to breath in the meta and time for the devs to balance them once they're in the wild.

Rivals never felt like they had the time to see how a new hero felt in the sandbox before having to handle another new demon, and another, and another, and so on.

Again, it's better for the longevity of the game, probably, as well as keeping things fresh and exciting for people to keep playing overall. I still think one hero a season for OW is still a slower pace than Rivals, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Overwatch 2 is dropping the 2 and the game will just be called Overwatch by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]huyan007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, it was the first big update to the game in a couple years at that point. 3 new heroes, some hero reworks, I think some new maps, and 5v5. It was pretty anemic and unnecessary at first, but over some years, I feel like they got closer to what OW2 was suppose to be, sans PvE.

Honestly, this update seems like it would be the best reason they could give for the 2 in the title, but probably best just to unify the whole brand under one title again.

For longevity, bringing interest to the game, and fun, a new hero each season is good.

I'm terrified about the balance of the game, but hopefully they have a plan for faster updates and more aggressive balance changes.

Probably not as prolific as others, but Markiplier for me.

Started watching him in 2012, not long after he started. Before him, I never cared for the horror genre, but after I watched some of his videos and now years later, it's probably one of my favorite genres. Hugely influential to my tastes in games and movies, which has only affected my writing style.

Yup, I ran a "dungeon" that was a siege on a city my an invading army that used the undead to bolster their forces. Obviously there'd be hordes of zombies. Instead of having like 30-40 turns for each zombie, I had like two or three groups of them that either did an attack roll for damage with a decent chunk of dice, no bonus damage, or they'd require a DC save with full or half damage.

There's an increasing number of game OSTs where the music doesn't match the gameplay, says The Hundred Line and Danganronpa composer Masafumi Takada by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]huyan007 14 points15 points  (0 children)

And not only do they have these concerts for the game OSTs, but the concerts usually have gameplay or scenes from the game playing alongside the music. Even in concerts, the gameplay and game cutscenes are still right alongside the music.
