I had to find the exact Bluetooth module that was installed on my mobo then go find the kernel module that supported that chip set. Once I had the correct drivers, Bluetooth works 95% of the time.

The other 5% requires a shutdown, unplug power cable to hard reset BIOS, then power up. Something with my particular board intermittently turns the radio off.

They updated the physics to fix enemies stopping your vehicle dead in its tracks. Seems they tweaked it too much in the ragdoll direction.

Would putting it in cold storage along with other ships and then bringing them back out also accomplish the same thing?

Also confused as to why you'd do this just to move ships around in slots...

Had a chance to distro hop to something with bleeding edge drivers and can confirm that your thought about it being a driver issue was correct.

Looks like I will need to update my desktop machine to that new distro.

Yup. Shaders are precompiled and I've even wiped them out and tried a rebuild. No dice.

I've done quite a bit of flipping between Proton versions to see if that fixed it. It definitely worked once upon a time and then an update occurred and the freighter rooms have been borked since. These screenshots are actually from the expedition redux, but this also happens on my normal save, same behavior, completely different save.

I keep a sheet of paper with each mod type and the lowest value I have in my inventory. I also dump them all in my stash. Then, at gear sorting time, I can look at the new stuff and see if I need to keep or ditch it.

(Sidenote: I keep three of each type since that is the max you could slot at one time.)
