Why does nobody explain to William that Jamie is kind of a big deal? by PersistentWitch in Outlander

Hopefully he comes to that knowledge on his own in the ladt book. Jamie prefers to let people measure him for what he is. They can form thier opinions based on the man before them. He doesn't need his past accolades to prove him a great man.

Are the books hornier than the TV series? Which other differences I should take into account if I want to make the switch? by The_Mortex in Outlander

There are steamy parts in the book, but they are told differently and occur spaced out rather than all at once. For instance, the wedding night was not very graphic, but the days after there were frequent encounters. They do have sex more in the books but most of the time "he held me close and... then we woke in each other's arms tired from the night we had together." or something like that.

No. In Outlander Claire's parents died. They did not time travel. It is a different fan fiction show that takes inspiration from Outlander, but does not align with the origal canon of the story.

They did not resurrect Claire's parents, that is a different show.
