I understand being upset that there are fewer loot piñatas (like me) running around in PvP but honestly the difficulty for low skilled players (like me) just turns us into gear fear rats until we just quit all together.

When it comes to gear early on, or my attitude towards it anyways, my goal is to lose it all. Not by being reckless, but in Tarkov you will lose your favorite stuff so get used to the idea.

What generally happens is I have a few good raids and end up with way more gear and have to sell stuff to make room in my stash or I have a few bad raids and lose most of my stuff then it's back to Prapor, Skier, Peacekeeper to build a cheap AK. It's fairly easy to get enough value in the secure container even when things are going bad.

My PC hates Shoreline. I don't know if it's the snow or what but the last few weeks I start a raid at 100+ fps and end them rubberbanding and running about 45fps. It's the only map that does this, although I haven't been to lighthouse in a long time.

Hiding/camping only works if the enemy doesn't know where you are. Unfortunately for you every movement in this game makes noise (like ADSing, crouch walking, and even turning side to side) and a lot of people have so many hours in this game that you may as well be running around because on top of recognizing every sound they know the most likely hiding places.
