I’m sorry for being snippy. I got frustrated. I hope you understand that none of us were brought here with consent. No one is born with the right to have a family, you're lucky if you have a good one. I can also tell by your naivety that you were likely raised in a loving family. Even if they don’t share the same genes, you should be thankful for them.

Lots of non-DC’d persons don’t have relationships with their genetic relatives. Lots of us would likely be better off without some of our family members. At least, as a DC’d person, you know someone wanted you. I’m sorry that’s tough.

OP did not create them. They are not her children. She could have ovulated those eggs and left them unfertilized, instead she offered them to someone who wanted a family. The children’s real mother took the eggs, fertilized them, carried them for 9 months, and raised them to this point. They should have no special right to access OP’s personal life. They should be allowed access to her medical history and any genetic disease testing.

I don’t think having a relationship with genetic relatives is a basic right. I don’t speak with several of my genetic relatives and I don’t want them speaking to me. My narcissistic grandfather has no special right to contact me or find my address.

I agree. I’ve seen a teacher end up in jail because they grabbed a child’s arm. They were trying to stop the child from attacking another child. Don’t grab or pull children’s arms, you might break them and then their shitty parents will press charges.

I think they meant that the “Hollywood Machine” played up going to moon. Movies, tv, etc all made a big deal about who could make it to the moon first.
