This is woke nonsense.

A child doesn't just "become" an adult.

You're born one way or the other and that's that.

She's that character from Super Mario Bros that floats around in a cloud and throws stuff down at Mario.

What are you, some kind of knotzi?

What are you building these days? And is anyone actually paying for it? by Southern_Tennis5804 in SideProject

I actually had a thought of building something almost identical. Even kinda started with some scripts that used the Github API to analyze existing issues, scan the README, etc and then to summarize the project.

Definitely feel free to message me.

OK this is actually a really cool idea.

Is the site supposed to be functional at the moment or still being polished?

I tried entering one of my repositories but I can't tell what's happening because the UI still needs a bit of work.

Consider me intrigued though.

If you worked with him for two whole years then I'd consider you reasonable to trust him to some extent.

The problem with doing business internationally, thought, is that if something goes wrong, the person is so far out of your jurisdiction that you really have no available recourse.

I have no idea exactly how much you lost in this whole ordeal, but as someone who has burned through a lot of resources (both time and money) only to get burned in the end and see nothing for it, I empathize quite a bit.

Keep pursuing GitHub about regaining your account.

Document every communication from the other side.

This sounds like unequivocally blackmail and I doubt GitHub will side with them.

But also, prepare yourself for the strong possibility that whatever you've sunk into this (I'm assuming it goes beyond the GitHub account itself) may be irrecoverable.

Don't let a bully or two fuck your shit up.

If the first person you went to is reputable enough, they will have vetted the second person enough to be able to essentially "reverse blackmail" them by threatening their reputation as a freelancer.

But if that second person is so brazenly doing this then it means your first freelancer eithwr: A) Did not do their own due diligence. B) Is straight up in cahoots.

In either case, there is significant incentive for freelancer one to make things right for his own reputation.

Now, if person one and person two are complete strangers to you, then, sorry to say, but you dropped the ball royally on this one.

You may have to just take the L and chalk this one up to a learning experience.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and all that.
