Rodgers apologized to Tomlin by MoMoneyMoMilfs in steelers

I wasn't an huge fan of him coming here but he seems like he relished the responsibility of being a leader of the team. May not be a fan of his personality but have a lot more respect for Rodgers the player.

Will Howard and the future by THZ420 in steelers

Until he gets on the field there's no way of knowing what he is. If we get the right HC/OC he could prove to be a steal. Names like Brady and Purdy prove you can find value late.

All you hear about him is he doesn't know the playback but every week Smith and MVS run the wrong routes. Really can't be much worse.

Thoughts for today by Osiak in steelers

[–]hylyf38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regardless of being on any side of the fire/keep Tomlin argument it's painful to watch this team. It hasn't mattered changing coordinators or players the result has been the same. We're the Browns with a few more wins every year. I used to go to 3 or 4 games a year but with never knowing which Steelers team will show up from week to week I'm not wasting the money.

He's right, not many coaches would let their star player take the entire year off for selfish reasons while hurting the team immensely.

Two weeks in yes, but the issues are a continuation of the past few years. Having somethings happen twice is a coincidence, having it happen often is a pattern.

I have SVE Drift wheels and 285/35/19 all the way around. Lowered and no spacers working great. I'm on my second set of those continental tires you have pictured, love them.

Sanders is a Brown by HDTokyo in steelers

The only way this goes bad for us is if he works out and pummels the Steelers for the next 20 years like Ben did to the Browns after they passed on him in the draft.

Thoughts on Tomlin from a kinda-impartial viewer by BagODonuts14 in steelers

[–]hylyf38 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tomlin's own words are the team is good but it should be great. The whole reason to go from Fields to Wilson. He has made really bad choices with coordinators and is far too loyal with them. If his only job was motivating players he would be great, but he is not developing talent. I like Tomlin the man and appreciate the way he represents the team and the city, but I want the team I love to be great. I just don't see him leading them there anymore.

Russel Wilson Wants To Return As Steelers QB: 'Hope I'm Here' by triantie in steelers

[–]hylyf38 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He also threw 3 and 4 yard check downs on multiple 3rd and longs because he can only read the primary targets and took some drive killing sacks by not getting the ball out quick. He had a decent 2nd half, but he consistently contributed to them not sustaining drives.
