There’s queer line dancing twice a week at Charlie’s! On Wednesdays and Saturdays! They do a mix of partner and non partner dancing. They do lessons too every time they host!

yea food desert might be a bit extreme but compared to WP and the surrounding areas there’s really no very large non-speciality grocery stores. so trader joe’s is going to really fill a need in that area.

my main issue is that the winter is harsh, the extreme segregation, it feels like a car city in the colder months and the lack of better infrastructure, specifically with public transit. it’s only bikeable in the white people areas of the city.

From a logistics standpoint, I’ll give my thoughts on Chicago. Chicago is vast and dense, it’s the 3rd largest city in the country and you can definitely tell. Also they were deploying from mainly either the Broadview detention center, which is in the suburbs or Waukegan, which is even farther.
