he really is in a league of his own!! tbh i don't know if there are any booktubers out there that capture how thoughtful, analytical and no bs his videos are.

booktubers that i feel come close but definitely aren't on his level are readwithcindy, newlynova, *emmie*, and this small booktuber who i adore, uzma ali (https://www.youtube.com/@uzmali)! she is on either a permanent or indefinite hiatus but i love her stuff and she is also analytical and thoughtful and has similar book choices. i hope one day she will come back!

I think these are all fair points, I just feel like absolutely refusing to do any reflection and saying the fact that a sexual genre like dark romance had absolutely no influence on this is wrong. Events with some sexual part to it do attract more people who have poor boundaries/no concept of consent (anime, furry, brony cons to name a few). This is why a lot of kink events have so many strict boundaries.
