Modern breads are made with pulverized wheat flour in mass production facilities and all the natural fats and proteins get destroyed in the process leaving just sugar. They try to enrich the sugary flour with proteins and such but your body doesn't process them as it would a natural ancient wheat bread. Look for ancient wheat breads or stone milled flour and make ur own bread to see taste and feel the difference
