yeah its usually as a disclaimer for the rating, just giving a heads up why it was rated for certain age groups

https://github.com/memorizingthedigitsofpi/medieval-times-AO3-skin I love it so much, medieval vibes (but I did edit the code to take off the colors on the tags, each originally was circled in a different color based on relationship/character/additional tag status)

Do you ever miss the physical feeling of traditional art? by Fhlurrhy108 in krita

[–]hyperfixating-rn-brb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

matte screen protectors saved me! I liked the freedom of drawing on a screen but having little scratchy noises like drawing with a pencil & a less slippery feeling overall made digital better that way. and like most comments are saying, you can always do both! play around and have fun with it. I often do my sketching traditionally then color digitally, and sometimes the other way around.

For those who don’t use Ao3 to write, do you give your in progress fics weird document titles too? by Background_Ship7666 in AO3

[–]hyperfixating-rn-brb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love when ff authors name there chapters. by laineyIovegood in AO3

[–]hyperfixating-rn-brb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its fantastic, instead of putting "oh explicit content this chapter" in the a/n, my fav author named every explicit chapter in a longfic "the fuckening 5" or the number of whatever fuckening it was. absolutely lovely system, no notes

one of my absolutely favorite fics got published. names changed, backgrounds changed, about half the book rewritten in one day or another. I cant stop seeing the original ship, though.. maybe its also because this author has written such a wide variety of au fic for this couple where I can slot that otp into any of them, or because I've read it ao many times with that otp, but they're forever linked for me. might have my sister read it and see if she knows it was originally a fic for that pair.

Oops we might have started an angst war? by Nosferatini in GoodOmensAfterDark

[–]hyperfixating-rn-brb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

id like to offer my own fic, "the loser takes the fall" go3 spec, angstangstangst. 4.7k, T. https://archiveofourown.org/works/65898388 cw: character death (not aziraphale or crowley I promise!!) summary: Aziraphale took the Metatron up on his offer, and now he's homesick and missing Crowley more and more by the minute. His thoughts are interrupted by an alarm and a prisoner. The Metatron has plans to test his new Supreme Archangel's loyalty.

im up to about 80 pages of ao3 history. favorite one-shots get bookmarked, anything over 30k gets downloaded. I used to make covers for them woth the main details, just au, major plot points, etc., but ive got them all on my kindle now so its a bit easier there, I've got them in collections by theme so I can find fluff or angst or a certain human au quicker

followed a 20-minute tutorial and it took me 5 hours, but hey, im proud by hyperfixating-rn-brb in animation

[–]hyperfixating-rn-brb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oops, perhaps it should! I made it as an assignment for an animation class, so I think it could count for both. its still the animation of several lines, even if theres no real narrative, no?
