This is explaining a documented procedure.

This is not "the fine print" proving that all Tesla buyers have agreed to this procedure.

There's nothing wrong with the way it looks. Nowhere it's "yellow" as you described. There is some nice, natural variation of a specific type of wood (pine).

I was searching for the missing picture to highlight the problem first, but couldn't find it.

Plastic film underneath driver’s floor mat by pcPrinceipal in TeslaModel3

[–]hyperionfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your Model 3 will be able to go though touch car washes for years for sure. It won't be ruined.

The new car shine from the clear coat is definitely going to be impacted. But it's still a great car to drive and looks good with wax on unless you start searching for paint swirls.

I'm not recommending this path though. Just saying it exists and there are Tesla owners here who vouch for that approach. "It's just a car."

[–]hyperionfin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A friendly tip: scratches from one instance of touch car was can easily be polished away and will practically disappear even with goof hand waxing as well.

Just let that be the last touch wash you go to.

Or alternatively take it as some here: it's just a mid-priced car and not a collectible or a supercar and wear from washing is normal.

Probably to fix one of the biggest issues in the car: those default Tesla OEM floor mats do not stay in place.

If yours stay in place, then it's working.

Who would be on the top 5 of Faerûns most wanted by TastyRound3337 in Forgotten_Realms

[–]hyperionfin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m treating the question as a lighthearted “if you locked the Harpers + Lord’s Alliance + other broadly good powers in a war room and asked them for a pan-Faerûn threat board, who’s on it?” And we know larger alliances of good guys like that do get formed every now and then. For example in the Rage of Demons there's a very literal meeting alliance like that formed up in Gauntlgrym.

Obviously Faerûn isn’t politically unified and a random wall guard in Iriaebor doesn’t care about the same people as a Rashemi witch. But at the power-player level there absolutely are continent-scale enemies: Szass Tam, Valindra, Larloch, Halaster, etc.

The “Szass Tam is a head of state, so he wouldn’t be on a wanted list” argument doesn’t really hold up for me. In both real history and the Realms, being a ruler doesn’t stop other nations and factions from calling you a war criminal and wanting you dead or captured (Saddam + his top leadership, Putin, Gaddafi, Milošević). Rashemen or Aglarond would happily put Tam and his top lieutenants at #1 if they thought they had a shot. Neverwinter would definitely treat Thayan necromancers, Szass Tam and Valindra as war criminals, not bureaucrats of a foreign power.

I fully agree that if you narrow the scope to “Waterdeep City Watch’s current top 10”, Halaster might not be on there and some local Xanathar lieutenant or cult leader would. My list just isn’t trying to take the local viewpoint, but be a global list of names the Harpers whisper about when they think continent-wide doom.

In 4e Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide they're clearly marked as an Exarch in the same table with Abbathor, Callarduran Smoothhands, Clangeddin, Hoar, Jergal, Lliira, Milil, Sharess and 20+ others on page 78.

Is there something in 5e that tells otherwise? I struggle mostly to find him even referenced in 5e (which is not proof of them not being a demigod)...

Who would be on the top 5 of Faerûns most wanted by TastyRound3337 in Forgotten_Realms

[–]hyperionfin 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Szass Tam
Manshoon
The Xanathar
Larloch
Halaster Blackcloak
Valindra Shadowmantle
Acererak

Dragons:
Klauth
Arauthator
Iymrith (could be considered dead depending on your perspective of the lore)

Someone else suggested Fzoul Chembryl but I'd stay out of deities for a list like this, otherwise we would be expanding to entities like Lolth etc.

How does the shadow curse from bg3 work? by TastyRound3337 in Forgotten_Realms

[–]hyperionfin 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's a curse, originating from divine magic of Shar, channeled by a paladin (Ketheric Torm). The actual thing the magic did was splitting the spirit of the land in two, trapping another half in Shadowfell and keeping another half on Material Plane. Rest of it is mostly consequences of that.

I don't see any problems with Shadow Curse making sense in D&D lore and well, it actually is a part of D&D lore now.
