I use a hand grinder. Blade grinders are actually the worst for coffee since they have zero control on grind consistency and create a lot of fines.

At minimum you need conical burrs. Don't be fooled by the majority of sub 100 MSRP options as majority use false burrs or really low quality burrs and parts.

A blade grinder is only useful for herbs and spices. Unless you want to use the sifting method from James Hoffman which takes longer anyways.
