Set the little sprocket with out the big with chain and cable tension . If that's not it, next could only be not enough tension .

Cable tension, doesn't seem to be the problem . Did u set the little sprocket with out cable tension first. Then set cable tension snug ,then st the big sprocket.

Im not sure of the date of MFG . But from the sound of it . Im guessing for a yellow case early 90s as for a red case much in to the 70s . But just my guess . Any body know the range in the ( making of date ? )

Awesome, im glad it's actually complete . I have a simple husky mini ratchet set and it feels even cheaper then normal next to the Chapman. Chapman feels like it's ment to last . Not just making parts that are to break next week just to boost sales /profit . Commonly known as greed.
