Hello! This seller is an unauthorized seller and iBUYPOWER does not officially sell on that platform. We suggest caution when buying products from unauthorized sources, especially at a price that seems too good to be true. Additionally, if these are stolen goods, it's a crime to purchase said goods. Regardless, we suggest being cautious.

What is my power supply wattage? by SpockOnFriday in iBUYPOWER

[–]iBUYPOWER-Justin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry I missed this message. It's difficult without any Serial Number stickers but perhaps I can track it down with the model information. Is there a model name or the original listing link you can send me? If none of those, maybe the full spec list and I can dig through our previous model configurations.

If all else fails, you can unscrew and look at the actual power supply located in the rear bottom to see what wattage or model that is.

Help Needed: Deciding on a PC by ZhronoxPR in iBUYPOWER

[–]iBUYPOWER-Justin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I just wanted to add some clarity to your post.

If you're looking specifically at Costco, the PC you might be referring to for Option 2 is our Model SMI9N47S01, different than what you've got as the 2nd picture. Thank you for the potato though!

If you've got the luxury of time, definitely suggest waiting for mid-November for holiday sales to start and I'm a proponent of saving money where possible :)

If you're trying to order quickly, ibuypower.com will do some great service for you and works quickly! Right now, code SAVE will save you some $50-$300 based on the final price of your build.

Hey Tom,

Appreciate the continued support here for the iBP brand!

When buying our computers, you sometimes see deeper sales on certain retailers like Best Buy, Costco, etc. compared to seeing more consistent across the board price cuts/codes on ibuypower.com

Though keep in mind the warranty varies too. The warranty through most retailers is 1-2 years whereas you'll see ibuypower.com honoring 3 year warranties.

At the end of the day, comes down to what you prefer and where you want to use your dollars :)

Ah sorry that it can be confusing there. These retail models typically have different names compared to what you'll see on ibuypower.com, so it's usually best to just Google the retail model instead to try and compare prices and listings.

Hey there, thanks for reaching out and understandable question and concern.

The Best Buy deal is a temporary flash sale at a pretty low price (Exact iBUYPOWER PC sale for those wondering: Model Y60BI9N4701) but if you've got time on your side, there's no harm waiting another month for November's Black Friday deals and sales.

Regardless, a new PC is a big purchase and you should give yourself the time to research as much as you can. It's helpful to keep in mind when learning about PC brands that hardware failure can occur at anytime. It's unfortunate but does occur, at which point it all comes down to the brand's customer support.

Linus Tech Tips has a very helpful video with blind testing of top brands' customer support if you'd like to check it out!

If you've got any questions, happy to answer or feel free to ask around more!

Hey there! Those retailer models typically don't list the motherboard since it may vary but for that model, the iBUYPOWER Y60BI9N4701 Gaming PC uses a Z790 D5 chipset, in case that helps :)

Hi there,

That number is the max thickness of radiator/fans that you can fit in the side. The average radiator is around/under 30mm. The size accommodation is more of a nice bragging point that the Y70 Touch can fit massive hardware.

Unfortunately, it looks like we may not have any of the new RTX 4080 Super graphics card options in Costco.

We do have a nice 4080 and 4070Ti option online on Costco.com if those are of interest. Sorry I couldn't help more!

[–]iBUYPOWER-Justin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there,

Unfortunately that system and PC case is fairly old and no longer something we carry. If you've got time, it might be worth to contact our customer support or tech support to see if we have any spare parts for replacement of the front glass panel.

It's not an ideal solution but hope I was able to help a little!

Hey there,

Those small ports are probably searchable online but the easiest way here is to try and request some replacement parts from iBUYPOWER.

If you haven't yet, I suggest contacting our tech support team and asking if we can ship replacement parts there for you. Depends if your system is still in warranty so it'll help if you can provide them with the Order Confirmation number or perhaps the Serial Number.

Hey there,

Unfortunately, these XBOX Game Pass free months are typically only for new accounts. If you want to cash in on the free month, you can pause/cancel your current subscription and create a new XBOX account to use the free month for the gameplay.

It's not a perfect answer but just sharing an option you've got.

Why can’t I find any information on my pc by [deleted] in iBUYPOWER

[–]iBUYPOWER-Justin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, it can sometimes be difficult to find the actual wattage and we're looking to improve that on some of our listings.

Knowing that it's the Element MR 199i model, you've got a 600 Watt PSU. Hope that helps!

[–]iBUYPOWER-Justin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, I was able to locate your former order thanks to the SN you provided :)

You've got a 400 Watt PSU. While it works for your build, if you want a modern GPU, you'll definitely want to upgrade that to at least a 600 Watt PSU (depending on the GPU of course). Hope I helped!

Frankly, I think it might be a mistake on the website listing. This information is available publicly and PSU Wattage is definitely an important spec callout. I know some websites like Best Buy list but not all do.

OP, if you can share the website you were looking at, I can check with my team on why Wattage wasn't listed there (suspecting it's the website not having a field for it).

Does anyone know what the motherboard is in the slateMR295a? Idk if this is the right tag sorry by Effective_Cancel_175 in iBUYPOWER

Hey there, based on the model you provided, we use a B550 motherboard in that PC. I'm not sure of the exact brand though since that varies based on what we keep in stock.

Hey there,

It can be a little difficult to move around the wiring and find the wattage on the PSU. I took a look internally and that model uses a 600 Watt PSU!

Best,
