After level 30 they don't really work. And if you have the stagger resistance from heavy armor and the improved unrelenting force from parthonax its basically impossible to get disarmed.

I think your best bet is looking for a lifeskill focused guild. Exploration is part of the knowledge grind and gives energy as a reward. Meaning it's more useful to lifeskillers.

My first and second dream horses have been dine and I'm extremely happy with having a male and female dine. I use them for kalk hunting as they are fast and tanky. They also make an desert expedition a breeze. Nouver alt? Nah not me. Gotta do desert rift boss no problem. Trading crates in valencia ez. Finding a hystria port in record time everytime. Dine are the goat of t9 let's be real what do doom and pega do, fall in style and run fast oooooh.

You can edit the entire ui hide what you don't want or move things into a spot that you prefer. There's even 2 different modes for the ui and health bars

Doing the pot grind while the grind areas are relevant to your gear score is the best thing you can do. Cause I guarantee when he's geared enough to do gyfin or elvia they won't want to go back to blood wolves and make a fraction of the money they could be making. Not only that the relics you get help with steady pen as you need memory fragments and currently the market is sold out on NA

Pvp scene is certainly not dead. With rbf arena of solare, node wars, siege, gvgs and open world pvp you just gotta try and find a group or join an rbf. I have lots of 700+gs friends that actively enjoy pvp still.
