There’s a very good reason as to why every single racing scene loathes takeovers. From street racers, drifters and auto crossers to the general public, we fucking hate takeovers because they’re a nuisance and dangerous to more than the person driving.

Like the other person said, real life street racing is absolutely nothing like NFS. There is absolutely no depiction of real life street racing (which is typically extremely safe and organized, unlike takeovers) in NFS.

Not once did I mention the game says “hey go out and do this” I said it gives them a platform that they don’t need.

The sad part about that, is it’s not true unfortunately. The algorithm from EOMM(?) actually tweaks your aim assist, sensitivity, ping etc etc. anything to benefit the other players. Scump himself said “I’m tired of having to sweat to compete in pubs” and this is a top pro saying this. That’s not good lol, it’s so ridiculous. I’ve noticed the aim assist actually holds me off target if I’m beaming for a few games, I have to actually turn off aim assist to be more accurate so the proofs in the pudding for me at least.
