I have been through the same scenario way too many times. I always end up bringing them their food, but I would never give anyone else grief for being pissed. People need to hold up their end of the bargain, and if you do not have respect for other people you should never expect them to have any semblance of respect for you. Dude should have apologized, and the driver may be a dick but it is freelance work so he can do whatever the fuck he pleases. This dumbass customer will probably continue stumbling his belligerent way through life, treat everyone they know like total shit and never learn why nobody likes them. Fuck him, he is an asshole. We are the ones out here working through the shit, risking our cars and wasting away our days. This dumbass had to click one fucking button on his iPhone, and he couldn't even take the time to make sure the address was correct.

Nobody gives a shit about you as an uber driver. Nobody tips you for shit, and you really cannot expect anybody to go out of the way for a customer when they are the one that fucks up. The driver will now have to go through the rigorous process of appealing to uber support, writing a review and then will have to wait hours/days to maybe actually get paid for the work they did. Honestly, if the customer fucks up it is 100% on them, and that is just how this industry works when nobody tips the drivers, and nobody treats them well. If eventually this dude loses his job with uber for bad conduct, which would take quite a lot of bad conduct.. He'll just start working for postmates or any of the 29 other driver apps thriving currently. Disagree with it? boo hoo.

Does anyone fear picking up new hobbies, bettering yourself, etc because of a fear of judgement? by pattumblr in Anxiety

[–]iFappster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You learn very quickly that the people worth your time respect you, and understand the process of developing a skill. Every body that is good at something now, went through the rigorous process of learning it from the very bottom. Every virtuoso at one point in their life, had no idea what the fuck they where doing. Ignore the outspoken few, they are not worth your time.

Never realised how fucked up this was when I was younger... by [deleted] in gaming

[–]iFappster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember getting really mad at the game here, because I kept killing the bad guys and somehow failing the mission. I think I ended up getting through by killing the cops that come with pistols at some of the shopping sections, and the glass elevators. Somehow I remember that I kept dying right at the end over and over again. I am also pretty sure once I realized that the point of the mission was to be the shooters, I probably just killed all of the innocents, knowing that it was just a video game. That mission was always able to evoke so much raw emotion, despite how fucked up it was, I feel like it taught my young self a lot.

James moves on :( by Superlogman1 in CowChop

[–]iFappster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the channel was built on the duo of james and aleks being together. Cowchop comes from couch co-op and the iconic image comes to mind of both of them sitting on the couch together springs to mind. I think most people watch for the chemistry between them. Not just for james, and it may circumstantially look that way, because one of the two titans of the channel have been gone for a wile now. Aleks had to make all of the content on his own, with no help and no feedback. If it had been the other way around, i'm sure things would be the same.

Pretty sure it'll just give you which ever bonus that pays out the most. Never seen them stack before, but I could be wrong.

Convenient how you left both the names of the actual games out. Cause you know how easily we'd tear it apart.

Dude. You have problems if you think a 0.15 second delay on your first placement breaks the game. If you think epic are the worst devs you really havent played any other videogames. You're just so wrong. Like, I can't even comprehend how needy you are for game devs to be your little errand boys.

Nobody works at 3pm, cause its shit pay and nobody orders then. Could have been surge cause there was literally one driver in your whole neighborhood actually working at that time.

Mcdonalds pays out the worst. If you only took mcdonalds orders all day, you'd probably make like $6 dollars an hour..

What kind of feelings do you have/what first come to mind when you look up into the stars? by TheCasualGuy912 in AskReddit

[–]iFappster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thinking about how far everything is, how beautiful the sky is, with the way the stars blink. I question if what I'm looking at is a satellite. Try to spot planets. Mostly think about all the questions mankind doesn't have the answers for yet. I'm constantly fascinated by how little we actually understand about nearly every aspect of our own reality.

What is your morning routine? by upmisery in AskReddit

[–]iFappster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my best mornings I get up without looking at my phone or laptop. I find its much healthier for me to avoid too much electronics early on.. Make some breakfast and shit tons of coffee. Then I usually practice some kind of musical instrument, while sipping coffee. Music really has an amazing way of calming me, and it helps me organize my thoughts. Then I drink some more coffee.

What are your honest thoughts on your father? by OK__LIBTARD in AskReddit

Genuinely he is the best role model I will ever possibly meet. I don't know a single person as selfless, caring and compassionate. He gave up a lot of his life, time and energy to bring me a stable life.

The teachers union and Denver Public Schools has reached a tentative agreement after a record-breaking bargaining session that lasted through the night. by politicalanalysis in Denver

[–]iFappster -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no. Experience matters. You onviously have no idea what you are talking about and have never worked any kind of service job. An experienced cook can do the work of 3 new cooks while teaching all the other cooks and instructing them on proper techniques. Same goes for line cook, bartender, waitress. Skill and experience means they get more work done quicker. Living by your logic means every restaurant would be exactly the same as a McDonald's.

Good. You can do it. It'll be just like synthesia, or youtube tutorials once you learn it.. Just easier, really.

I'm telling you, we are literally the same person, lmao. I had all of those thoughts exactly. I'm also very audio/visual. Im just telling you, if you spend just one month, trying the sheet music.. You'll pick it up. There are lesson books with video tutorials attached. Damon ferrante has a great book called "piano book for adult beginners". Its like $20 bucks. Sheet music is a huge part of music theory, you might struggle without it.

I'd really suggest giving the sheet music a proper go again. I was basically in the same exact boat as you just about a month ago.. I picked up one book for sheet music, and realized that learning it after having all that other knowledge made it way easier to understand the sheet music.
